Netflix Anime 'B: The Beginning' Begins in March 2018

A PV for the previously announced B: The Beginning has been released and revealed additional information. Animated by Production I.G, the anime will be available worldwide via Netflix starting on March 2, 2018 with a runtime of 23 minutes per episode for a total of 12 episodes.

anybody knows if they are gonna release all the episodes at once on March 2 just like the usual Netflix anime release?

nevermind i got my answer when i ask some knowledgeable person on twitter and he says yes all episodes will be release at once

First 3 eps. will be pre-screened via a World Premiere Screening Event on February 21. 4 main casts and director will appear for talk event.

Well considering how poor netflix does with putting out anime series' I won't be surprised if this comes out before they get the chance. Looks interesting though, definitely gonna check it out, although I do get the feeling that it's going to be utter trash

Eh. I might be the only person that isn't really intrigued with the PV and whatnot. I mean, it does look good, I won't deny it. But there's things that I wanna point out that don't really sell me:

- The content that so far the PV showed: So far, this is one of those series I wouldn't really enjoy, especially given how this gives a Mystery/Thriller vibe. I don't mind thriller series, however I am VERY and I mean VERY nitpicky with it. I've already got nitpicky with a series with the exact type of feel this season and it was pretty awful, so that really doesn't sell me much.

As much as I like crime series to an degree, the way the PV delivered just didn't sold me for some reason.

- The staff doesn't look really good. Aside from maybe the music composer, director (which he directed Little Busters), and few other parts of the staff... this doesn't look pretty promising enough to warrant me to watch it either. I would say the staff looks alright though, I can safely say that. Decent but not something I would say "OMG".

- The fact that when it comes to MYSTERY anime, its not something I am pretty keen on. If its not and its more or less thriller I would be fine, but even then, it really didn't sold me and chances are that I'll probably dislike it as well based on the content I just saw or what the PV wanted to show... so, there's that.

Granted I'll give it a shot but not when it's airing, but when I hear a reception about it.

Netflix has even a worse Anime selection than Crunchyroll in my country, so they can kiss my money goodbye and i'll just wait till it's ''free''.

Netflix got hold of some really amazing looking stuff this year. And luckily, most of their stuff will be released simultaneously worldwide, unlike Fate/Apocrypha and Violet Evergarden.

Anyway, it's been so long for Production I.G. to come back in Science Fiction genre again since Psycho Pass.

Reading the synopsis it's look like The Wires + Zodiac with SciFi setting. This will be exciting, can't wait!
