I enjoyed the fluffy nature of the anime so maybe I'll check out the manga. Though if it just devolves into DRAMA and MISUNDERSTANDING like a lot of romance then I'm going to get upset. Great way to ruin good series with that garbage.
you think why i drop it?

Did you even watch or read it? It had a genuinely great start that went into the lands of mediocrity as soon as its second season started airing..
He doesn't watch or read 90% of the stuff he so vehemently defends. Idk how he's not embarrassed that he has to defend things for no reason. Just blindly going into topics and seeking out the negative responses, one of the most ignorable MAL users imo.
Funny thing is, you can say the same for most haters too. Just replace defend with attack, and seeking with posting. Simple.
Regardless, it seems like neither of you even read his comment. He wasn’t replying to the part about whether the show is bad or not, but rather the part where the guy didn’t want this series to get a new season.
I mean, it’s understandable if you don’t like a show and even post negative things about it. But wishing that a series you didn’t like, to not get new seasons, is pure selfishness. Just because you didn’t like it, doesn’t mean others felt the same. Your views and opinions are not facts or absolute truths that must be followed.
Would a show you didn’t like, getting a new season, really hurt you that much? Is it fun hoping others would fail or not get what they want? Are you so high and mighty, that seeing people enjoy things you don’t, makes you want them to suffer?

Ahhh!!! I really want to read it. I don't even know in what chapter it is right now!! I'm super sad, since I haven't read it since may... MAY!! The last chapter I read was 112, so can someone please update me on what chapter it is right now and tell me a site where I can read it? Sorry, but I'm really desperate.
Chapter 112 is whats available (translated) so far.
Thanks.
Well, I'll just have to wait for the chapters, and it's not like it'll kill me me (at the least it won't in the outside, ahaha).
But, really, thank you very much.

Kimi ni Todoke's shining aspect IS the character growth. The second season of the anime is where things begin to get tough, but that's where the characters grow and struggle to properly communicate to each other. The manga extends much beyond this, but not just in Sawako and Shouta's romance. It delves into the relationships between all the other characters.
Many may not like the supporting cast as much as the mains, but I found their stories just as interesting. This manga was excellent imo. More people need to catch up on it.
