Customi Z announced on Monday that they will disband. Each member has considered their future and after a long discussion, decided that disbanding is the best choice. The band's final live show will be on August 26.

Customi Z was formed with Gorou Kurihara, Daichi Izumi, Hiroki Terasaka, and Kenta Matsui in 2012 with no band name at EBiDAN The Live. They received their band name as Customize (Kasutamaizu) in May of the same year. The band name was changed to Customi Z in October 2013 when Matsui left and HAMA joined. They sang anisong covers like "Hare Hare Yukai" and "Secret Base" before their debut. They officially debuted on August 27, 2014 with "Life and death," which is one of the ending theme songs of Shounen Hollywood: Holly Stage for 49. Customi Z also performed anisongs for Sidonia no Kishi: Daikyuu Wakusei Seneki, K: Return of Kings, Kurage no Shokudou, and Sakamoto desu ga?. Customi Z aimed to be a great rock band in the anisong industry.

That's a shame, I really liked their ED for K and their OP for Sakamoto. I wish them all good luck in the future.

That's a huge shame to hear! They were a pretty great band.

Well, hope they each have a good future - disbanding is not necessarily a bad thing. :)
