TV Anime 'Orange' Announces Male Cast

The official site announced the male cast members for TV anime Orange. Female cast members were already announced in a previous news article. The series is scheduled to premiere in Summer 2016.

Kakeru Naruse: Seiichirou Yamashita (Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu)

Hiroto Suwa: Makoto Furukawa (One Punch Man)

Saku Hagita: Kazuyuki Okitsu (Prison School)

I'm super excited, mostly because they DIDN'T choose obvious seiyuus like Yuki Kaji. I don't know much about these actors, but that just makes me more interested!

Especially in animated Suwa <333

Asides from HanaKana, I'm not at all settled on the cast. Saitama voicing Suwa? I have my reservations about that. Kakeru's VA also needs to be able to correctly portray his emotional sensitivity too, otherwise the performance will come across as flat or forced.

Oh darn it I was hoping Suwa would have been voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki and Kakeru by Daisuke Namikawa. Oh well it still looks good.

well, now i can say that i'm watching this show for just the story because none of the seiyuu appeal to me besides hanakana rofl

i really wanted ono kensho as kakeru. how disappointing. makoto furukawa can work as suwa though!

Can't say I'm very happy about this ... Had a different image of the character's voices when reading the manga. Hope the seiyuus don't dissapoint me, as I'm really looking forward to the series

You know, not everyone watch an anime based in a manga because it has read it. Secondaries exists for some reasons after all.

I wasn't implying people should read manga before they watch an anime. I was claiming that someone said they're only watching this because of a VA and that's just ignorant imo. You should at least know the genre of the show and what it's summary before saying I'm going to watch this, that's why people end up dropping shows and giving them bad ratings after 1 ep, which I don't think is fair to do to a show.

Don't worry for that. I'm an open minded person who watch anime of every genre (I'm not very picky in that sense) and never drop anything of the seasonals, nor I judge and anime just after watching one or two episodes. I try to be open before deciding if something id bad or good, and I don't rate anything until I finish it.

Btw, I read the summary time ago, just happens the reason why I decide to watch this is because something that has called mya atention. There is no need to form a drama just for one thing. I never said the show was going to be bad.
