And do you have a data about my question above?
Mar 16, 2016 3:09 AM by Nachtwandler_21
Noragami seals are so bad can someone please tell me why????
Because it's a second season. Sales of S1 wasn't great either (about 5k average) and drop for S2 was inventible. Although IMHO S2 was way better than S1.
There isn't always a drop from the 1st or 2nd season (there are exceptions such as Nanoha, Love Live, Symphogear, etc), but from what I found (updated as of April 9, 2015 here: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1299713) by looking at the past data was that:
● 87/110 (79.09%) TV Anime experienced a certain percentage drop in average sales from the 1st to 2nd season.
● Out of that 87 TV Anime, the median percentage drop was 32.5%, the average drop was 34.3%, with a standard deviation of 18.3%.
The percentages are calculated by:
[(Sequel Average - Previous Season Average) / Previous Season Average] * 100
Some of the main reasons why such a drop occurs in sales, is that the buyers:
● find a better anime to spend their hard earned money on (as anime is not cheap in Japan!)
● lose interest in the anime as its airing
● beginning volumes have been inflated by bundled bonuses and therefore the later volumes sell much lower
This is very evident when you look at the sales of a TV anime as a whole, and see that the lowest selling volume is much lower in number than the highest selling volume. The lowest selling volume is afterall the best indicator of how many buyers stuck around and bought every single volume, rather than the first few volumes due to the reasons I started above.
Now when we look at Noragami S1, its obvious that it suffered from the 3 reasons stated above, as Vol.1 and Vol.2 had event ticket application serial codes bundled.

Ya just 57k is good but using the term just shows how much it will have dropped.
Very common literary device.
Anyways owarimono getting close to 26k

BTW. What are current prediction for new Utawarerumono?
Currently it has 2,623 accumulated points on Stalker with a 2,768 sales projection (with 13 days until release):
http://www27392u.sakura.ne.jp/show.cgi?&n=B0165WSC60
Higher priced items such as BD/DVD-BOXes have a certain correction applied to their accumulated points on Stalker btw (that's why it'd be 4,686 sales projection without this high price item correction), so it could be very accurate or wildly inaccurate due to this correction.
