Boku no Hero Academia only have ~3k BD sales O_O? I thought it was pretty popular, guess only on western area most likely...
include the DVD sales too and its over 5K disc sales, that is totally not bad but not a major hit which 10K and above total disc sales per volume
i do not know about that anime but i heard its an adaptation of a manga, so might be worth checking the manga volume sales of it and see if it sells millions of copies now and if it sells that much then the anime is a success too, since a lot of times anime are just one giant promotional material for the source material like manga anyway

Zestiria I haven't seen big performance from it yet to be considered a savior, but LL! SunShine has been dominating at storefront such as Animate, gamers and softmap ever since it was solicited. It is also doing decent at Amazon, well it is outselling everything from Summer 2016 right now, but I expect things to improve later on.
I saw Zestiria doing decent on Amazon a while ago, but haven't checked recently. Due to the game being decently popular with fujoshi and certain female fans I expect the anime to do okay, but it could do terrible still. B-Project was ranking decently at Animate the other day, so maybe that one will have a chance too.
As for Tourabu, it really really depends on how the adaptation ends up, because KanColle has showed us that if you anger your fanbase, you'll end up selling under expectations. KanColle ended up selling around 20K~25K average, while KADOKAWA and fans in Japan who follows sales closely expected 40~50K average prior to the anime airing in Japan. Clearly Tourabu will sell well as it was the 2nd most popular DMM game behind KanColle the last time I checked, so it has a huge fanbase.
While I agree it depends on how they play their cards, I can't see it doing below 10k unless it's an incredibly terrible adaption. Tourabu is insanely popular at the moment. I have a feeling the anime coming out in 2017 may do slightly better than the one in Fall 2016, but only time will tell. If the adaption turns out anything like the KanColle anime adaption was I can see it doing pretty 'meh." That adaption was just disappointing.
It still counts regardless and they don't report the sales of their own stores either so we don't know how much they made.
Next week will add another 500 sales atleast then add the stores sales and musaigen breaks even on BD sales alone, add merchandise sales and it's a success.
Keep smoking that pipe, bud.

Their store is small and really does not account for much. This is a flop and in no way recuperate their costs of production. The LNs still haven't ranked anywhere either.

Nothing really interesting to me. I'm sure LL! Sunshine and Zestiria will save sales for the summer. The Tourabu and UtaPri anime in Fall should be big sellers to. Half a year and still no 10k seller it's just odd. Maybe Macross will change it though.

UtaPri definitely should be one of the Top 2/3 sellers of 2016.

KonoSuba has a chance of being a 10K seller in Winter 2016, but it may only be barely. Koiyomimonogatari definitely the savior of Winter 2016, but it's an ONA rather than a TV Anime. Spring 2016, I agree that Macross Delta has the biggest chance of being the 10K seller.

Well done KyoAni, very well done
Except kyoani owns the I.P. and the disks have sold out on their online store.
Kyoani literally cannot lose money on any series.

These people have to be paid.
They are paid regardless of it sells or not, but disk sales isn't everything there's merchandise and other stuff which makes musaigen a small success overall.
