The latest issue of Weekly Shounen Magazine revealed that sports manga Days will be receiving a TV anime adaptation. The series is about two boys named Tsukushi and Jin. Tsukushi is a boy with no special talent or traits while Jin is considered a soccer genius. On one stormy night, Jin meets Tsukushi, and they get dragged into the world of soccer.

Days is drawn by Tsuyoshi Yasuda and began publishing in April 2013. The series has 14 volumes currently in print with the 15th volume scheduled to be published on January 15. In addition, the series was nominated in the Best Shounen Manga category at Kodansha's 39th Annual Manga Awards in March.

Sports Anime are always welcome. I remember liking Over Drive which is from the same creator so that's a plus as well.

More sports anime is always good. I haven't watch a football one so I hope this one is good. Gonna start the manga once I find time.

Finally there's a new football/soccer anime. I've always wondered why there weren't too many of them. I'll wait for more info on this one though.

I'll be expecting the cast!

Sounds like Kuroko, but it's soccer instead, so why the fuck not? It can't hurt to have more sports anime in my life, even if this ends up not being good.

Please let this be done by Production IG.

Hopefully no unrealistic moves that we've seen in KnB and Haikyuu!!

I don't really have a problem with that because I think it makes the anime more interesting. Most anime aren't realistic anyway, so I think an anime about a regular old sport being that way makes it more fun. But I'll admit sometimes things do become a bit over-exaggerated.
