 The official website of the Botsuraku Yotei no Kizoku dakedo, Hima Datta kara Mahou wo Kiwametemita (I'm a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic) television anime revealed three additional cast and a second key visual (pictured) on Thursday. The anime is scheduled to premiere on January 7 at 1:30 a.m. on TV Tokyo, followed by BS Fuji and AT-X.Cast Reina: Yume Miyamoto (Kanojo ga Koushaku-tei ni Itta Riyuu) Chris: Miho Okasaki (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken) Guy: Kenta Miyake (Boku no Hero Academia) Kenichi Ishikura (Sakura Trick) is directing the anime at Studio Deen and Marvy Jack. Tatsuya Takahashi (Saihate no Paladin) is handling the series composition and Midori Ootsuka (Kamen no Maid Guy chief animation director) is designing the characters. Alisa Okehazama (Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki) is composing the music. Miki (Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyou desu) began penning the adventure fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in September 2019. TO Books published the first volume under its Bunko imprint in February 2020, featuring illustrations by Kabocha. The ninth volume was released on October 19, with the tenth volume scheduled to go on sale on January 15. Rio Akisaki began serializing a manga adaptation in Comic Corona magazine in February 2020. TO Books released the eighth volume on March 15 and will ship the ninth volume on January 15. J-Novel Club licensed the light novel and manga in English for digital release on January 19 and April 5, respectively. The fourth light novel volume went on sale on November 23.
