Studio Pierrot Animates 'Sousei no Onmyouji' for 2016 Broadcast

An official website has opened for the previously announced supernatural action TV anime Sousei no Onmyouji, revealing the first key visual. The series will be animated by Studio Pierrot for broadcast in 2016.

Avex Pictures will exhibit the series on December 19 and 20 at Jump Festa 2016, which will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Fusion musical group Wagakki Band will perform the theme song of the series.

Sousei no Onmyouji is adapted from the manga by Yoshiaki Sukeno. The manga has been serialized in Jump SQ since November 2013, and an English edition is being published by VIZ Media in North America under the title Twin Star Exorcists.

Yeah, I didn't explained my second statement, what I tried to say is that, even when a serie is full of cliche, it can be good when they aren't putting one after another in the most generic way to the point where you can see everything that it will happen in the next fews pages, take for example One Piece (I will be hated for this but :D), the serie is full of cliche, but the way Oda put them doesn't make the manga too generic. I like generic series, but some of them are really bad for me when they use several plot points that either came from nowhere or are just there for the sake of appeal by using aspects that appeared on successful series. This manga is bad for me (If I could rate, 4 or 5), simple because I don't enjoy neither the story, or characters and the amount of cliches makes the series really just your average shounen without anything new, but the art is average, at least.

I didn't said anything about being edgy and I don't have a reason for this, but I can see that in this forum anything that tries to be either smart, mature, or "deep" will be tagged as such.

Now, the manga isn't good and full of cliche, while I don't mind cliche, they are beyond bad in this manga - then we have Pierrot to animate it we a really bad Key Visual. I hate to say that something will be bad based on expectation before it release, but this one REALLY looks bad.

I agree with this I wish it was Bones who did this anime ( Pierrot sucks ) I hope it just a dream and that its really Bones doing it ( I will still watch and see how its like since I still love the manga I hope they don't F&^* up the source )
