 An official website has opened for the previously announced supernatural action TV anime Sousei no Onmyouji, revealing the first key visual. The series will be animated by Studio Pierrot for broadcast in 2016.Avex Pictures will exhibit the series on December 19 and 20 at Jump Festa 2016, which will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Fusion musical group Wagakki Band will perform the theme song of the series. Sousei no Onmyouji is adapted from the manga by Yoshiaki Sukeno. The manga has been serialized in Jump SQ since November 2013, and an English edition is being published by VIZ Media in North America under the title Twin Star Exorcists. | Wagakki Band became quite popular lately. It will be nice to hear them in the anime again. As for the studio - Pierrot is hit or miss studio, so we shall see how it'll work out. |
