HoneyWorks-Inspired Movie 'Zutto Mae kara Suki Deshita.' Reveals Staff and Key Visual

The official website of the anime movie inspired by Vocaloid music circle HoneyWorks revealed that the work will be titled Zutto Mae kara Suki Deshita.: Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai. The movie will open in theaters in Japan on April 23, 2016.

The updated website also revealed the first key visual (pictured), which was created by animator Maki Fujii. A trailer was uploaded to the YouTube channel of Aniplex, but it is region-locked to Japan. The complete production staff and additional cast members were also announced.

Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai is a series that HoneyWorks initially created for Vocaloid songs. Various seiyuu later joined the project to voice the characters depicted in the music videos, which were uploaded to Niconico and YouTube. The music videos have 100 million cumulative views on both platforms. A light novel series, Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu, featuring the characters has also been published since February 2014.

This is sort of off topic, cause it doesn't have anything to do with the story itself..

But does the whole "stiff shoulders, arms thrown down at waist with clenched fists, eyes closed in a constipated expression, shouting confession and cringing afterwords like expecting a slap to the face" thing to be really annoying and forced? Like what human being actually acts like that...

I see it all the damn fucking time.

Eh so it's basically mashing up together the three story branches to make a full length movie. Adding in the answer/conclusion we couldn't get from the song pv/manga thingy. Good XD

On one hand, it's standard high school romance, so I doubt they can seriously mess this up.

On the other hand, it's standard high school romance, so I doubt it'll be anything "amazing," at least plot-wise.

That being said Honeyworks music is great, and I'm actually looking forwards to seeing how this will turn out. Cast looks pretty solid.
