Dat Fate Domination!!

Nearly every single anime have a limited and a regular edition. This is nothing new, as in the past the lists used to omit "Limited Edition" because the Regular Editions rarely rank at all. Of course in the rare cases where both editions rank, then a distinction is made between the releases on the list. So I have no idea why MAL has recently been putting Limited Edition on everything, when everyone who follows sales already knows they are Limited Editions.
I see. I didn't know about that. Thanks.

Kancolle sold well, it's not the best series out there but is highly enjoyable and deserved a second season. The game needs to sell well, I want nothing less than 100k+ sales for Kancolle Kai.

The PS game seems to have started well. It was solicited at Amazon 3 days ago, and the "Amazon Limited Edition" is already 45th for the 2015 Yearly Games Ranking:
http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/bestsellers/2015/videogames/ref=zg_bsar_nav_d_0_d#3

For the hourly bestseller rankings at Amazon, the differing editions are at (as of 20:38 JST)
*1 Amazon Regular Edition (without bonuses)
*2 Amazon Limited Edition
*6 Amazon Regular Edition
*7 Regular Edition (without bonuses)
45 Limited Edition

Haven't looked at the other online retailers (such as Animate, HMV, gamers, softmap, etc) but I imagine it should sell well at Animate and gamers too at least. I also have high hopes for the PS Vita game sales, as it should be much closer to the original browser game than the anime adaptation of course.

Yeah, and we even have a sequel and movie confirmed so no worries :D

SAO is still popular?
Duh. Later volumes of the novel are still in the top sellers so expect later seasons of the anime to sell just as well.

So what are the chances of Shirobako Season 2 or a movie? I know people say that PA works makes no sequels, but isn't this really good sales for an anime original?

I heard they wanted to do a 4 cour season but only did 2 because they were worried about sales.
They shouldn't have any more worries :)

I'm not sure about the chances of a sequel for Shirobako, but I do think the sales have been quite impressive, particularly for a P.A. Works original anime. However, I don't think P.A. Works does as many shows as some of the other studios, which might make a sequel less likely. Then again, if they think they can make money, who knows...

Sadly UfoUbw is doing too good, considering what a fucking scam the first cour BDs are.

I wonder how the second cour BDs ill do after all the shit that will become apparent about this adaptation.

The figures for the Blu-rays aren't out yet probably because its been only 2 days since it was released. You can keep track of them here
http://www.someanithing.com/3103

Also Parasyte's sales are kind of sad.....

ACs arent either and that so called flop anime is beating TGRootA which is funny.

Japs probably hated Murano and her "Are you Izumi-kun?".

The thing is at least Assassination Classroom's anime adaptation is decent on the other hand Root A wasn't. Plus season 1 and season 2 altogether sold decently which can't be said for AssClass.

Though really it doesn't matter as long as Merchandise and source material sell well.

Mar 31, 2015 11:11 AM by AquaWateria

I hope Akatsuki no Yona sells well when it comes to blu-ray. One of the best anime in the last season, and deserve a 2nd season.
