Publishing company Shueisha announced a television anime adaptation of Chihiro Yuzuki's Kimi to Koete Koi ni Naru (With You, Our Love Will Make It Through) manga on Wednesday, scheduled for a Fall 2025 airing. Voice actors Manaka Iwami (Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai) and Takuya Eguchi (Given) are starring as Asaka Mari and Hidaka Tsunagu, respectively.

Yuzuki began serializing the supernatural romance manga, also abbreviated as Kimikoe, on the Manga Mee service in May 2021. Shueisha published the seventh volume last August, with the eighth volume going on sale on January 23. Kimikoe has a cumulative 1.2 million copies of its volumes in print.

Yen Press licensed the manga in English in July 2024 and released the first volume on December 10 last year. The second volume is planned for an April 22 release.

@ZXEAN which shoujo mangas would you want for them to get an adaptation then?

You just KNOW

@missslauraa Honey Lemon Soda, Nina the starry bride and A condition called love are among the boring ones.

A sign of affection is one of the few exception and its really good.

One the other hand Kimi ni todoke isn't a new anime it's a sequel to an old series so it doesn't count.

Wished it leaned more into monster boy than furry boy, but I'll give it a chance. :V

@ZXEAN only? A sign of affection, Honey Lemon Soda, Tamon’s B-Side, Kimi ni todoke S3, 7th time loop, Nina the starry bride and A condition called love are the most recent ones; which shoujo mangas would you want for them to get an adaptation?

Jan 16, 1:43 AM by missslauraa

Hmm, well, OK. Will probably have a narrow audience, though.

Either I’m too young or too old for anime… I’m 18 I ain’t see nun like this might be signs telling me it’s wrap been in the game strong jersey retired😂

@KANLen09 For that matter, MAL doesn't even mention that it's a shoujo.

It got an adaptation..... The manga is more on the steamier-side, though still not yet on a josei lvl I guess. I wonder how much of the steamier content would be adapted faithfully.... then again Beastars is pretty steamy as well, I guess....

And yes, this is a literal def of a shoujo-furry title.... A good one tho.....

Sudden increase of shoujo furry romance lately.

Jan 14, 11:06 PM by Piromysl

And yet, MAL doesn't explicitly mention that this is a sequel to Hana-chan and the Beast Man.

You NEED to read the prequel before getting into the series before it comes out this Fall, which is one of the best Shoujo works I've ever read. I just can't wait for the anime enough.

She’s in love with a furry?

Jan 14, 7:47 PM by Old_School_Akira

When it comes to shoujo why only the weird or boring ones keep getting anime adaptation lately!!?

Jan 14, 7:45 PM by ZXEAN

Quite an original plot for a (potential) shoujo. However, in the same year we will have an anime about an intelligent teenage chimpanzee...
