So first things first. For some reason MAL has this as a standalone manga. That is a mistake. It can be read that way, but this is one hundred percent a sequel to Juujin-san to Ohana-chan and takes place in the world Chihiro Yuzuki built for it. there are references to Juujin-san to Ohana-chan throughout the manga that I will attempt to not spoil and let readers discover on there own, and you may get more out of it by reading Juujin-san to Ohana-chan first as it is crucial to the world bulding. As someone who has read a fair share of Mangas and Light novels, I can tell you with full confidence the target audience for this NSFW work has to be between 13-17.
Which leads us into the first problem that none of Yuzuki Chihiro's are aimed at a older audience despite including explicit content in her mangas.
After reading Hana and the Beastman, which was equally as bad as this one by the way; it already raised a lot of red flags which is pretty common for a lot of Mangas be that as it may be it also ended rather fast and had a ... fairly niche audience.

I would have not bothered writing a review if it continued that way, seeing this get a animation really shoke me to my core why you would ever try to make this type of content mainstream. This is for all purposes and intent a fetish, a pretty specific one at that.

In both of her works she keeps referencing how the dog boyfriends look like actual pets kept by humans. The author also owns pets and has a cat which is a striking resemblance to Kisara, I don't know why you would ever go with this decision unless you, yourself have some repressed feelings for your own pets.

Aside of the author being problematic, the pacing and structure of her stories make no sense.
The explicit scenes are exclusive to humans x beastfolk, which is the oxford definition of Bestiality.
There was a useless love triangle drama between Mari and her human upperclass which was clearly padded out for time since it did not serve a purpose we already know, she wouldn't include a human couple, the only appeal this manga has are the beast interactions.

Since I really don't want engage with this content anymore than I already did, I will give you a bulletpoint list:
-Tsunagu assaults Mari multiple times throughout the story because he was in heat, but it never becomes a problem and never gets brought up again because Mari ''liked it''.
-He has to wear a dog muzzle during intimate moments, he never even learns to control himself.
- It is never explained why a human and beastman can only produce full beasts and not a human with animal ears/traits.
.The purpose of the wall barely gets explained before it's demolition.
-It is never explained why people just casually accept the beastfolk despite knowing they lack self-control, the ones who do question it are villanized.
-It is never explained why they are full beast if they have human genetics from those experiments.
-Keeps trying to justify intercourse with animals.
-The story also takes place in the authors own city.

The characters have no ambitions or motivation, almost all plot points never get answered or ignored. The ''plot'' only exisits to get to the explicit scenes as fast as possible. The biggest problem with this manga is, the author tried to make a story around her fetish when she never had one, this should have been never anything more than a eroge catering to a niche audience.

Recommending bestiality to a younger audience should never be normalized, this opens the flood gates for all kinds of fetish mangas to become mainstream if all people lack the ability of critical thought.
