Cygames, the mobile game developer that produced Fall 2014's Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis
, has announced on its official site that the company will be forming its own anime division. Applications for Anime Producer, Production Assistant, and IP Manager were posted with the announcement.
In its mission statement, the company states its plans to not only adapt games currently copyrighted by Cygames, but to produce original anime works as well. Cygames' anime division aims to challenge itself to contribute to the anime industry with works that will remain in people's memories ten or twenty years into the future.
In addition to Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis
, Cygames also co-developed The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls
mobile game with Bandai Namco Games. The latter's TV anime adaptation
