I don't doubt your figures but how can we have such small amounts ?

It's like people cancelled their preorders or something ?

Maybe they are waiting for the spring animes.

Most anime have already been released/will be released this week. While winter 2014 is a bad season for sales, the April titles only make it look worse if you exclude the march titles.

But overall, winter is just a bad season for sales. Hoozuki has a big v2 drop, so I don't think we'll be see'ing any 10k sellers this season.

Estimates for winter 2014. I did not do the March releases, since those are already out or in the upcoming release threads.
It looks even more depressing without the other titles. Only 2 titles above 3k.

This week's estimates took a while(the new Saki episode diden't really help), since we got so many damn releases next week. Around 60, if I counted them correctly.

Why do some titles have a symbol next to them (starting from IS)?

Same reason the sales threads on MAL have them, it fucks up the layout without them.

Anyone have the daily rankings for this week so far?

http://www3.atchs.jp/test/read.cgi/urisure/1358138212/432

Main problem this week is that all the releases we have the biggest questions about (chu2, mikakunin, saki) are smack in the middle between Shingeki (way too high to be useful in estimating) and stuff at the bottom that hasn't even made the daily rankings, that we already knew they would sell better than. So it remains a mystery until Tuesday...

But some of the events so far make sense. GJ-bu BD box starts high since it should be really Amazon biased, then disappears after pre-release day. Saki, Chuu2, and Mikakunin hold steady in the middle. Once the weekend hit, Chuu2 and especially Mikakunin got big boosts. Sakura Trick ranked twice but not after yet, impossible to tell what that means. Sekai Seifuku is somewhere between ST and the other three as expected.

Other than Shingeki, concert BDs are eating up the top half of the rankings this week.

I see Seitokai Yakuindomo is doing well.

Depends on your definition of well, it'll be dropping like 40% from season 1's sales probably.

Seeing those numbers makes me so very happy. Even more so since I contributed to the first one's success and might do the same with the second one as well.

By the way, congrats for your web sites too.

95.8K ?

Is that even possible ?

I don't know this anime but it has to be really popular to achieve such a score.

Yes, and like Jmal said, its probably* underestimated. I mean, just look at Gundam Unicorn v7 with its 103.6k. The third NGE rebuild movie sold 330k+ if I remember correctly.

And none of those can even compare to Ghibli movies. Ghibli movies from the '80s are still outselling a lot of anime series on a yearly basis.

*If probably is 99.9%
