Anime 'Kill la Kill' BD/DVD Vol.9 to Include Unaired Special Episode

According to the official website of "Kill la Kill," the 9th BD/DVD volume (to be released on September 3, 2014) will contain an unaired special episode along with the 24th episode of the anime. The total run-time is 48 minutes, including the 24th episode.

Why do still need this? 70% of Kill La Kill is fanservice.

I'm not looking forward to it, Kill La Kill is just boring, though I have habit to never drop animes, so I won't do it.

And why the f_#$ is it only airing in September 2014... They should air it now, it probably won't be a sequel/ending to the plot, is probably just another fanservice episode in the beach or hot springs as l__________l said.

Well the unaired episode is not that big of a deal but 48 min long is.

I'm actually not sure about the 48 minutes length. It appears that the total run-time of the content is 48 minutes and not what I had originally understood (the special having a run time of 48 minutes). I will clarify this with my colleagues and update the OP.

I apologize for the error. I did edit it as soon as I made the post but it looks like that part got picked up anyway.
