Shoji Kawamori's 'Nobunaga the Fool' Anime Announcement [Update 12/10]

In Monthly Newtype magazine, an announcement will be made that "Nobunaga the Fool" will be receiving an anime adaptation that will air January 2014. The series has "sci-fi robot action featuring historical characters such as Oda Nobunaga and Leonardo da Vinci." Some of the staff and cast for the series has also been given.

Those poorly CGI mechas looks terrible, even their movements are dull IMO - at least judging for the PVs. I still gonna watch this, but I think it's gonna be something like Aquarion Evol for me: colorful and maybe fun to watch, but I'm not gonna get hyped with the mechas, which is sad in a mecha show. D:

So honestly, I wasn't all that interested in this one because of the name. I guess I thought it was going to be some ridiculous/stupid comedy with some silly Oda Nobunaga character. But, I just watched some animation in a PV and it actually looks pretty interesting and serious and of rather high quality. So...not what I thought it was going to be. Also I've been a fan of Yoko Hikasa so...I'm interested. And the story of the two planets (sort of an east meets west kind of thing?) seems like it could be interesting to, so this might actually be one of my most highly anticipated series of Winter.

Not sure if you're serious or not. What does that have to do with anything? You mean we hate Kaji 'cause he voiced Shu? Not really. FukuJun is a good VA, therefore a good role made him popular, a well-deserved popularity. Kaji Yuki has an annoying voice. It does work in some places, but sometimes he just ruin the hell out of a character. I dunno why females fangirl about him. His face? Yes he's cute and all, but sorry, it's his voice that's more important.

Ep.1 pre-airing events on December 8, 2013, which is the same day and place as the event/stage. I don't know how it works. (Maybe butai aisatsu = the event/stage?) and December 26, 2013
