Well that volume was supposed to be officially released on the 4th, i.e. the day after this week's rankings, so I guess its current sales only come from stores that broke the street date.

Nope. Both One Piece's and Assassination Classroom's official release date is March 4th. That's why both of their sales for that week's rankings are lower than usual.

No volumes have been released recently.
SAO volumes are released roughly every four months (not counting Progressive). The latest SAO volume was released in December, so the next volume will be released in April.
