Index is still selling but it's still lower compared to its previous volume. The story was good, even though Touma pretty much fought the enemy half-dead and barely won. The power of plot armor is amazing. I vote Thor to be a new protagonist, screw Hamazura.
And lol rhinoceros beetle.

DxD's number is just for one day but if that's the case then it should have a higher number for the next week rankings. Can't wait for the translation and the second season.

Silver Spoon going strong in its first week. AssClass and HxH still alive. Good job.

And wow Mondaiji getting a boost in the LN. The anime did its work already even though it won't sell.

Kotoursa-san #1 came out in 2010 and is currently #13 on amazon.co.jp's manga list and ships in 1-3 weeks. Kotoura-san #4 is at #22 and comes out February 22nd. Issue #3 is ranked #29 while issue #2 is completely sold out. Not sure if the old ones will rank but #4 just might...

the life 0 and life 1 are already translated on Code-zero blog, check on Baka-tsuki for his blog link if you dont have it. Life 0 and 1 are somewhat okay so far, nothing special, just explanation of magician and pact with devils.
I somewhat surprised that the DXD volume 14 is already rank 3 when it was released on January 19.

What Kadokawa cares most is the sales of the novels. This means Mondaiji should be deemed a big success, despite its dismal performance in projected BD/DVD sales so far. From what I read, the pace of the adaptation is not fast in the anime. The series has only 10 episodes and may just barely cover vol.2. This means a 2nd season can be likely, just like what happened with Koreha Zombie Desuka where modest sales of BD/DVD did not stop a production of a 2nd season.
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.
