so the hakuouki movie part 1 sold 4705 copies in 3 days(it was released on the 31st). will more be added next week since only 3 days were counted?
oh and apparently, oda nobuna is out of stock in amazon....but stalker shows its sales as 3.5k copies....and its rankings on amazon weren't that amazing either. I mean, not like horizon or tari tari. so does this mean it might sell 3.5k to 4k or perhaps even 7k or so next week?

also, just seeing now that there's more Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu, nice to see it up there. Great show

Really want to see Hyouka here that's good.

Fate/Zero and Kara no Kyoukai are pretty "occult" too, and they sold great. But that might just be because of Type Moon loyalty instead of normal anime trends.
Most Type-Moon's stuff sells tons, they have a large otaku fanbase, one of the largest in the Anime and VN industry, heck even Fate/Stay night the eroge is still ranking in getchu up to this day. i have yet to see a Type Moon product that wasn't a success.

It's a shame that Sankarea, Another and Tasogare bombed so hard. But the weird thing is that all 3 of them involve occultism or horror stuff. So I guess the Japanese Otaku don't like this kind of theme in their late night Anime. I wonder how well other horror/occultism series have done in the past.
It's not something that tops the charts often, no. There are no shows since 2000 that have averaged 10k or better that I'd classify as real "horror" anime.
Not sure about "occult" since that's a bit harder to define but I'd guess shows like Death Note or Tsukihime or Mononoke would fall under that, so those occasionally sell well.

Well, honestly, they all bombed about equally badly. Sankarea is lower, but they're all rather abysmal (under 2k BDs). A shame since I liked Another and Tasogare. Sankarea was alright too.

Another at least has a lot of resources as a franchise to stay alive, with the Live Action movie, the novels and the Manga.

Ok, that was surprising considering the popularity of SAO. Well, maybe because it's "duet", it has more impact on certain audiences.
I'm still laughing about how the Kuroko and Kise duet sold better than Kagami and Kuroko duet. XD not that I mind, I enjoyed kise and kuroko's duet more. kimura ryohei's voice for kise is my new guilty pleasure.

whoa, I'm surprised that Haganai still hasn't complete the BD after almost 1 year since it first air...
Not really... most anime realeasing its disc after 3 month its airing time, n releasing 1 disc per 1-& half month, you got 9-12 month for 6 disc like Hagsnai then.
EDIT.. Its 11 month for completing its disc sales since the airing.. dunnp what so weird with that. But yeah Haganai releasing its first disc later than other fall 11 anime.
Also, the last BD should have been out a month ago, but it was delayed.
***********************************
Good to see Another still selling somewhat, as does Dusk Maiden. Too bad Sankarea bombed hard (since it's not listed), as that was one of my Spring favorites, despite its flaws.
Oh well, good to see Haganai topping the list; that show was awesome.
