Original TV Anime 'Symphogear' Announced

According to Newtype magazine, an original TV anime "Senhime Zesshou Symphogear" was announced to be aired from January 2012.

Synopsis:
Humans have been menaced by mysterious monsters called "Designated Aberrant Disaster: Noise". Tsubasa and Kanade are a popular vocal unit "Twei Wing". They wear the new weapon "Symphogear" and fight against Noise to save the earth.

Nana Mizuki makes me want to watch, the mention of Wild Arms makes me want to watch even more.

One word WILDARMS! Heck yeah just that is amazing so will this be since someone from that game is on this team. Series itself was amazing.

Can't be generic, if they don't introduce a (generic) male lead. Or is this a shojo? Doesn't look like it, but designs seem to not tell everything anymore. (Hanasaku Iroha..)
Also Wild Arms? Hm. Stories there vary in quality, but they usually have some interesting things going on. (At least WA, WA3 and WA5)
Only problem, "Encourage Films"? What? So, 3 Minute-Anime or something?

Doesn't sound that interesting to me, kinda' generic.

But I like Mizuki Nana and Yuki Aoi, so if this actually turns out to be decent, I might watch it.
