I'm very glad that Sangatsu No Loin won an award.It's one of my favorite mangas right now.Even though I don't understand Shogi,I love the series for the story and characters.

Chihaya, SnK and 3gatsu? I'd be hard pressed to name many better series that came out recently. I love all of them. Makes me want to check out the other two.

Not really last year--these titles have been nominated for the Manga Taisho award--Uchuu Kyodai twice, Shingeki no Kyojin once, and 3gatsu no Lion won the most recent Manga Taisho award last March.

I was thinking this too.
I remember seeing 3 Gatsu no Lion and Shingeki no Kyojin winning something.
SnK is great, but I wish the scanlators do a faster job >_> Planning on reading 3 Gatsu no Lion
