| Another great episode with Zoro, he just doesn't have it in him to give in to anything. Something that says a lot about his character. I'll skip over the idiot that jumped in the water and comment on them stretching Luffy's neck to give him air. |

| I can't to see this underwater fighter between Sanji and the other minion guy. Lol, at the end of the episode being Usopp getting chased again. This episode dragged, like fight scenes usually seem to do in this series. Frankly, it isn't really bothering me anymore because the actual fight scene with Zoro was pretty cool. Anyone notice that every single battle seems to have a lot of non combatants watching the fights? Well, at least in this case a few are actually trying to save luffy. |

But I chalked it up to "a shounen anime being just that" and decided to go with it. Zoro getting up from almost completely passing out was such bullshit. Typical shounen stuff though, I guess. I didn't want him to lose, but this was hard to watch. Stretching Luffy's neck was a good idea. I wonder how Sanji will fare in this battle, though I doubt he'll lose. I know he won't die or anything. And as for Usopp... I don't really care. He needs some type of fighting ability aside from petty tricks. |

| I don't get why people get upset over typical shounen stuff, what do you expect from a 600+ and running episode show? I'm also glad that the creator also stated that he wouldn't put romance in it, that would kill it for me... wouldn't sit well with the tone of the show. |

| By this point I think Zoro has cemented himself as my favorite character quite easily. I think this episode said a whole lot about him. I absolutely loved the lines "Three swords, six swords, it doesn't matter! Your sword and my sword carry different weight!", and the lines "Even if it's an injury that would knocks/kills ordinary people (out) I must not fall/die!", "To beat the extraordinary Hawk Eye I must not be ordinary!". Last moment that I really think drew a colorful picture of Zoro this episode was when he was at his limit himself and tried to crawl into the water anyways claiming that "Luffy is at his limit". All of this pointing towards the fact that he really see's himself more as a vessel for his resolve, for the people he's fighting for, for his dream than anything else. And I couldn't love it more. Of course his sword has more weight than Hachi, Zoro's swords are more than a way to fight, they are a promise to his childhood friend, to Luffy, and to Mihawk. Despite Hachi being comedic throughout the episode this was a pretty big feat for Zoro to accomplish. To be able to beat a fishman, someone of the strength 10x a human while near death is insane. Zoro may be simple, but he is simplicity done to perfection. Two other moments I sincerely loved where the creative way in which Gen and Nojiko were attempting to save Luffy, and the way Sanji got one punched through a wall and woke up with lighting a cigarette, standing up covered in blood and saying the punch was nothing. I'm fascinated in how the fights next episode will take place, an underwater battle with a shark karate fishman, and Usopp fighting one himself seem wacky. Arlong arc is possibly worthy of being in favorite battle shounen arcs of all time, other two off the top of my head being Yuyu Hakusho's chapter black and Dragon Balls piccolo daimao arc. I'll update my opinion on this as I'm finishing the arc if I remember. |
| You know if that guy never pulled out his blades against Zoro,Zoro wouldn't been that motivated to fight him. Because we know from episode 1 that Zoro's goal is to be the greatest Swordsman to ever,and now that Mihawk that Hawkeye guy demolished him,literally demolished him and what did he say after that what did he say to the guy in the boat : "I promise I would not lose another swords fight ever again" and if I do (if I remember correctly) "You can kill me,basically my life has no importance meaning if I lose another sword fight". Because his motivation in life is to become to greatest swordsman ever. When that guy pulled out the blade Zoro realized hold on I made a promise I can't lose this fight,and that's when we see Zoro gets all out because Zoro is in severe condition he cannot fight,but the promise he has the pure will the heart. and Luffy at the moment he looks dead. |

| Zoro can't die before achieving his goal to be the best so seeing him dodge through all those blades gracefully before doing a superb counterattack makes me so excited to see how he'll grow as a swordsman later in the anime. Even with his head out of the water, the water's still in his lungs and considering how far his neck was stretched, no wonder he takes so long to get resuscitated. |

| Yes now it is. Zorro is using his Three Sword Style again. No one can defeat him now (only Mihawk for now). Only if he was in a better condition then he could have taken down those two alone and Sanji could have save Luffy. Hey they took my advice from my last comment XD!! They stretched his head out of the water and I think they've saved him. But Sanji is having trouble now. Good thing Usopp is taking care of one. Else it would have been impossible. I wish if Johnny and Yasoku had waited a bit longer then they could've been a help here. |

The guy was amazing. Too bad he had to die like this. He seemed like the only good guy. Just if he was in a good guys crew. Yeah, I remember him being really friendly and kind to Zoro as well. I get the feeling he's one of the first villains to be killed off aggressively by the strawhats (not just being launched into the sky/ocean like some other villains). Although my memory is a bit hazy, so I might be wrong on that. But I'm pretty sure this arc was where their attacks got serious. |

| Bruh Hachi is literally trolling Zoro. But my boy Zoro persevered through his injuries (and Hachi's trolling) and took him down. Seriously, he's the most dependable crew member yet imo. Sanji vs Sharkboi is up next Stretching Luffy's neck was smart thinking ngl. Nami's joining the fight too. |

| Ahhh damn it's been months since the last time i watch One Piece episodes, man Fall 2022 and Winter 2023 Anime Season really took all my free time. I really need to watch less Anime from Spring 2023 onwards. Now back to the Grind again!! Zoro showing Tako who is the Boss here!! |

| Zoro is such a badass. Usopp just makes me laugh, pretty much in whatever he's doing. No doubt Luffy will be fine considering it's Luffy. |
