| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh boy, I sure hope Iroha knows who to trust more in the future. Karma seems to also play a role in this episode as the luck can turn into misfortune. First half of this episode was filled with excitement and battles. Iroha improved as a magical girl and it's pretty neat to see her new friends fight along side her. |

| Showing that girl only works for profit meeting Q-bey. Two girls.. twins? Red hair girl from main story also in there to check on the reason. The three found the place, then realized these two are using witch's power. The main girl got caught by her darkness, but that helped her to destroy the source. Another girl appearing and it was the two's missing friend?! She ran away w. those two though. The girl only works for profit crying for the first time. Then those girls start to live together. |

| Ok Funimation finally has it up after an hour delay! I really enjoyed the episode tbh, not seeing the reason for complaints. Fight scene against the witches was really well done. It was definitely a good idea from Kyoko not to trust the wings of the Magius. There's more to them than meets the eye. The reunion of Mifuyu and Yachiyo was pretty sad, especially after all they went through in episode 5 Felicia has been through so much and it broke my heart seeing her breakdown there at the end. Iroha's kindness towards her was also really heartwarming. I love how close the girls have grown with Yachiyo assuming a motherly/big sister role and even moving in together. Loved the touch with the countdown being shown next to Iroha as well for her luck |

| Hmm the twins are certainly a curious part of the cult. To think that Kyoko will also join them as well. Still Felicia's hatred for witches was far stronger than the twins had determined which proved to be their undoing. Still this provided an excellent opportunity to not just spoil the cult's plans but also allow Kyoko to show her combat prowess once more. Though Iroha was victorious the usage of the witches power was a worrying thought. Mifuyu being one of the members of Magius though was a surprise. Overall a strong ep that featured an excellent blend of action and revelation while also introducing the one thing that the show needed which was a hostile faction. Having Mifuyu as the enemy also served to make the fight much more personal for Yachiyo as well. Hope we get to see the twins again though as they were quite impressive. While the teamwork and friendship between the girls are still raw the introduction of Felicity into their ranks i think will serve to improve this and ensure their success against the Magius. |

| Ok well this episode answered the Ui question. We saw her with that cult group. This entire time I thought that little Kyuubei was Ui but I guess that theory is wrong now. So basically that cult is gonna be the enemy for this series. I hope we see Iroha control her witch form more in the future cause its badass to see. I hope we get more scenes of her doing that infront of others like the first time she did it. |

I doubt they're that many pink haired characters in this series since they make it a habit of having everyone have different colour hair to keep them contrasting. The only ones who have the same colour are Ui and Iroha. Hence why I think its Ui. It would make sense since she disappeared just like Yachiyo's friend did and now she was revealed to be part of the cult. Theres no way its a coincidence that when Iroha runs into the scene they reveal one of them has pink hair. Its got the be Ui.  Heres the screenshot. |

| Solid episode. These go by way too fast! I suppose that's a mark of this show, at the very least, being engaging and well paced. I know the beginning was plagued with pacing issues when it came to plotting and introducing characters, but for the past three episodes now everything's been coming together. All the little plot threads seemingly disconnected are all tied to this cult that wants to save Magical Girls. I like how Kyoko was characterized here. She found a kindred spirit in Felicia and imparted some solid wisdom based on her own history: fight for yourself before anything else, as that's the least painful way to live. I like how it tied to the ending after the battle, with Felicia's breakdown - you can tell she wanted to stay with Iroha, the one girl to show her empathy and kindness, but all of that scolding made it feel impossible given her history. She wanted to fight for herself like Kyoko suggested, live on her own, but it's becoming clearer and clearer that isolating yourself only ends up hurting you deeper. It's clearer now more than ever that the theme of MR is coping and suffering with the people in your life than alone, the benefits that come from that (and I suppose how harmful that can be with the selfish Magius cult - a group willing to hurt innocents for their own sake). Great voice acting by the way, I think Felicia might be my favorite character (rocket hammer ftw!). There's so much trauma, frustration and self-doubt bottled up in that little lady. Foreboding ending with their luck finally running out. Things are going to get tough, I feel. Those sisters, Tsukuyo and Tsukasa are... quite interesting. Very close. I suppose you could read that as them being lovers, which... I mean, I'm not judging, and part of that comes from the subtle characterization I love about MR. From their dialogue (i.e. "We didn't say it was for everyone's sake" as they caress one another's faces) to their closeness, the way their witches complimented each other, it's clear they have their own reasons for doing this. I'm sure they both have had hard lives, made their wishes at the same time maybe, and have only survived this long because of the emotional support one another gives. They're probably only part of this cult for each other's sakes, which, I mean there have definitely been pettier more selfish motivations for antagonists. Interesting witches too - these orbs which seem to bear different biospheres to create a whole Earth. One says "cut us off from the world" and the other says something along the lines of "block out all noise." They literally want nothing more than to live together in their own little world. I'm excited to see more of them, perhaps some backstory. Also, giggity gasp Mifuyu who wanted to not be a magical girl is part of this cult that would fix that! It wasn't meant to be too great a shock, but it was to Yachiyo. Some real tension from Mifuyu though - she seems to feel as if Yachiyo left her, perhaps emotionally, as she said not everybody is as strong as Yachiyo. And that's true honestly. Yachiyo is way more mature than, well, anybody else in the series. Being like that is easier said than done. Besides, it seems as if Yachiyo does indeed have her darkness she copes with when it's ok to do so - as indicated by the ED. |

Well theres also the possiblity that Ui became a magical girl and her wish was the erase all past evidence of herself. (Im not sure why'd she do that but its a possibility.) I still feel they wouldnt make that tease with Iroha joining the scene if it wasnt Ui. And most importantly the pink hair. I doubt its a bait and switch. |

| The seventh is the best episode so far. Now the plot is taking shape, we have a clear antagonist in place. The action is very good, the dramatic part works very well, and the story reveals a few more things about that sinister sect. As it seemed, that rumor about salvation in Kamihama must be about the new transformation of the girls, which must prevent them from becoming witches and "save" them in a way. Wings of Magius members dominate the "doppel" transformation and can use it consciously, which makes them very dangerous. Besides that, it seems that the negative effects of drinking the lucky water do not go away when the rumor is destroyed, since Iroha's last luck was that her parents found for her exactly the boarding house that Yachiyo owns. The next episode might show Iroha facing bad luck 24 times. |

It seems the Rumor was just producing the water, but its effect was still in place as it was a separate facet which affected the world (think Walpurgisnacht's defeat never reconstructing Mitakihara) |

| Loved the episodes. The starting really made me hate witches and sorry for the little Felicia. She really behaves like a kid, hope they show the part she sleeps like a baby (shuu cute). Glad to see Iroha could use Connect with Felicia, making her hammer fast like arrows. The cube used by the twins had the name of Alina Grey. We'll see her soon it seems. In last scene Iroha gets a suspicious message on her phone. My heart is ready for the invisible girl, another girl pink hair who carries a bow and the girl with glasses who can stop time. Next episode will be epic. |

| I think they drew the girl in pink hair to make us believe she could be Ui, interesting observation. I wonder how did it not occur to Iroha. Maybe Madoka joined Wings of Magius, it could be. Homura is also searching for Madoka so it could be an explanation. Kyoko probably doesn't know Madoka. We'll see in next episode. Those who play the game, insert your pink haired girl here. |

| So the fight against the Magius continue, the lucky owl water rumor has been defeated but now it's revealed that Mafuyu is still alive after all. Quite an action packed episode. So they will all live together, sounds like a happy place for them. So glad they all get along so well now!! |

| So Iroha kind of controlled the witch power and returned to her consciousness on her own... and controlling it properly is possible too as shown by the twins. Heh Felicia really needed the place to stay and some love  |

Also in Kamihama is Madoka, who's searching for the similarly-missing Homura." Oh I didnt actually read the description. I never do for series. Yeah I literally just went to read the description and didnt see anything about Madoka and Homura so that must be game only stuff. Guess its nice that they got rid of that so I can at least still think this is in the same universe as the original Madoka Magica. I'll just think of it as a prequel side story. | It's good that Slop leveling won the CR awards with such a power gap, Gaijin Weebs don't deserve good anime. Not after what they did to frieren, kusuriya, and many others |
