| It's getting a bit tiring to see that in 99% of anime characters almost always only dress in either: a) extravagant and/or fantastical battle outfits b) generic looking high school uniforms c) generic looking sports outfits d) generic looking military outfits f) idol outfits e) fanservice tailored clothing I want to see characters that dress in a way you can tell they have a life outside of school/work/saving the world bla bla bla etc. Any anime you've seen where characters dress in normal clothing most of the time? |

| You need to be checking out more slice of life anime if you want to see more of casual clothing. Although I consider Utaβ½Kata as a new addition to my personal favorite anime, I'm not sure if it's really the anime with my favorite casual outfits. The 5 girls that the series tends to follow (I say "tends to follow" cuz most of the focus is on two of these girls, but still the other three appear enough in the show) have multiple outfits, as it's an anime set in the summertime, but there are some casual clothing here and there. I dunno if these are my favorite outfits, but there are some nice ones here. Ahiru from Princess Tutu has a pretty nice casual outfit that she occasionally wears outside her school!  |
