The Fantasia Bunko Daikanshasai 2018 stage on Sunday has announced staff members for the previously announced Date A Live III TV anime. The anime is slated for Winter 2019.

Staff
Director: Keitarou Motonaga (Conception)
Series Composition: Hideki Shirane (Last Period: Owarinaki Rasen no Monogatari)

I hope it will be better than the second season. Also, I want a Date A Live game that's not on mobile or a VN. I want a Musou title, third person action, or maybe a fighting game (even though I suck at them).

Yeah a date a live game would be nice imo. I think a dynasty warriors type title for this anime would be fun even if it would be in a crossover. I hope the 3rd season is 24 episodes but it will probably just be 12.

I’m not the biggest fan of this particular franchise, but I’ll probably get around to watching this Season. J.C. Staff again though, I sure hope the animators and staff working in that Studio are sane and will make it through the next busy year or two in one piece.

First OPM, and then Konosuba, and now this, why do J.C Staff keep taking over anime from other studios? they got their hands full already..

Not just OPM 2, Konosuba Movie, Date a Live III but also To Aru Railgun and Accelerator, Saiki Kusou Finale, Danmachi Season 2 and Movie(Winter 2019), High Score Girl OVA(Spring 2019) and more!
Doesn’t matter how big/huge the Studio is, it’s still going to be a hectic year or two from now for the Studio.

yea doesnt matter how big the studio is, the only matter is their budget for adapting such a lot of anime and i have high expectations for OPM 2 so i hope they wont run out of budget for upcoming anime project

Exactly, budget is a very important thing but in my opinion the sanity and well-being of the Staff is even more important!

On one hand I'm glad a renowed studio like JC Staff is taking on the project, but on the other hand I'm scared the adaptation won't be done well because of time constraints and DAL being less popular than other titles.

They're not announcing the seiyuu for Nia so my guess is the anime will adapt volumes 8-12, which luckily includes the Origami arc. If they don't try to shoehorn unnecessary crap with Mayumi, or go original like TG root A, I think this will be a nice addition to the franchise.

Great index III, is doomed. No wonder the animation was bad, the production schedule is atrocious.

And yet another J.C. Staff show, ‘Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-target Attacks?’, was confirmed at the end of the festival. I really don’t know if all the other Studios are inactive at the moment or J.C. Staff is being a little too ambitious, but I really wish them all the best! It’s going to be a harsh year or two for them.

Hate the fact staff on MAL loves to tease with all these awesome new pics, like:

But then it is only thumbnails and we have to put all this work into getting it...

JCStaff seems appropraite to do DAL series, should fit right in, just hope they have some budget for the awesomeness of Origami arc.

Wow, J.C. Staff has a lot of projects on their hands. I really hope they can make this work cause some of their latest anime (like Index III for instance) is suffering from some animation quality.

Not counting movies, I think they have at least 7+ TV anime projects?

It does. Scheduling and proper staffing are the two crucial factors to make everything click & work.
Also...I don't know how you got that idea but they're not using their own budget nor is said budget used across multiple projects.

An unique committee for each & every project hired them and gave them the means to produce each project in particular.

1st season, 4 volumes @ 3 episodes per volume.
2nd season, 3 volumes @ 3 1/3 episodes per volume.
Specifically, 4 episodes for volume 5, but that was for two spirits - Kaguya and Yuzuru.

3rd season, I predict 4 volumes (8-11) @ 3 episodes per volume. The next denser alternative is 2 volumes (8-9) @ 5-6 episodes per volume, which seems a little high. If 3 episodes per volume is too low, they can raise it a little with a 13th episode, or by blending or cutting OP or ED sequences.

I haven't read the novels, so I don't know if there's anything that would justify a higher episode-to-volume ratio.

Volume 10 and 11 are excellent volumes, but also, ones where a lot of things happened.

They sort of deserved more than 5-6 episodes.
