| Really good episode, kinda figured they'd resolve the romance drama pretty quickly considering the backlash. Still, it made for an awesome scene (even if I do feel Ichigo didn't deserve to have her heart ripped out and get shafted by literally everyone) and the action overall was stellar. |

| Feels really rushed considering last episode. Was hoping there's at least some setup beforehand (just a little scene would be alright) explaining the situation right after Zero Two left the plantation. Oh well it's still nice i guess since now we can focus more on the lore behind these Klax. |

| Oh man I'm a sucker for the OP playing during the episode. Doesn't hurt that I love this OP either. We get the great resolution we were waiting for with 02 and Hiro getting together, and Ichigo even seems to have grow a bit. Now we can just dig into the main plot for the rest of the show. Seems the nines are all half and half like 02. We potentially got a teaser into how new children are grown/born. Or perhaps just how the half and half's are made, though the seemingly stopped doing that after the first nine. Anyway really solid episode with some good action, and rip that one squad. |

Maybe the Klaxosaurs are a result of a failed assimilation plot or just a virus that was meant to "evolve" mankind. Maybe it was the sub group but the way they council commented on the suicide attack of one of the plantations seemed to be a nod at human existence. But then again it's anime, they have their ways at attaining #fakedeep. | Holy shit, where do I even start here..... What an action packed episode. By far the best episode. That Protocol 32, what a way to be sacrificed for the greater good. Those human body like things from that one core is quite suspicious. The way "Papa" uses their own plantations to self-destruct against these klaxosaurs, makes me question who the real enemy is here... Goro, what a Hero. Letting Hiro ride Ichigo to get him to Zero Two and Ichigo going along with it surprised me. Poor Ichigo though, all Hiro's memories were about Zero Two and she fully endured them all :( I don't really care who ends up with who in the end, but that kiss was beautiful. Hiro and Zero Two reunited for real this time, with both realising what they mean to each other. The transformation of Strelitzia was quite awesome. That final scene on the other hand...... |

| just want a put a #fuckthecrazywaifufanatics for all the shit they did to the creators due to last weeks episode ,seeing it get resolved one week later makes all of it seem so dumb and unnecessary but my real question is personally i doubt they were able to change the script within one week due to the backlash or was this intended all along? granted i really don't know it's A-1 and this episode it's self while good and chaotic felt like a semi-final so much went on to the point of me wondering how we went from some teen drama bunch of the plantation bases get sacrificed /zero two & hiro proper reunion was thinking that was gonna happen a bit later lol a ton of things got brushed over this episode because of how much went on but you thought it was over then a massively "small" baby like hand comes out of no where hoping it wasn't just bad CGI because it didn't look like a "big hand" |

I think Darling In The Franxx does things that are completely new to the mecha genre adding its piece and interpretation of what the Mecha genre was before. its like putting the cherry on top of the icecream, you dont need it to enjoy the icecream but it makes it better then before. |

"I'm happy for you" Bitch please lmao Goro deserves better. I did find it odd that all of a sudden Hiro could pilot - it was a real cop-out to get him where he needed to be than just having Hiro in the cockpit with Ichigo and Goro. So happy they got back together. RIP Squad 26. Y'all got the raw end of the deal. Was interesting to see the roles reversed for the 9s, too. What was up with that hand, though? I was expecting it to completely turn the mood by killing someone from the main group. I did wonder if the monsters used to be human so I guess this confirms it. Must be one hell of a core for it to be that big. |

However, Hiro seems to be able to pilot with others now. It proves what I suggested last episode --- to pilot, it has everything to do with your mental state! (Happy that Zero Two and Hiro got back together) |

| Even if you don’t support Hiro and Zero Two’s relationship—or romance in general—that was probably one of the most satisfying resolutions to a drama in anime, even though it could had happened last week and all of this unnecessary drama (both in the anime and in reality) would not have happened. But just the two admitting their faults to each other was sweet in its own regards. Overall, this episode was great (and not just because of Zero Two, I do not condemn such bias) Here’s some Zero Two Hero moments for shippers. Here’s some resolution for the Ichigo hate. Here’s some more MVP Goro moments. Oh, and while we’re at it, here’s some amazing battle animation and choreography. What more can you ask for? Maybe some more salt from people because of the salt from last episode. |

Ichigo had her closure arc with her realizing that her first love in her life is completely into other person after seeing his memories in the connection and after that, cheering for them just like Goro did, which is a growth in character for a child that before that had no involvement or experience with love and was likely to commit mistakes just like all characters did in the past, because they're all soldier without any experience with sentiments, love and such things in a teenager phase. And of course, they revealed that she was worried about zero two, a thing that you can see before when she defended 02 of Nine Alpha before. |
