Fair enough, but what you describe just sounds more like romance with sex than porn to me if you put that much emphasis on a romantic plotline. It doesn't have over-the-top action, enemies feel insignificant and lame (those "Angel clones" are nothing more than plot device, and doesn't beat the real Angels in Eva which is designed much better and more interesting), characters are pretty much all trash tier, and plot is as bad as Koutetsujou no Kabaneri... PS: I mention Koutetsujou no Kabaneri cuz there're many similarities and flaws between Franxx and Kabaneri. Interesting world being overshadowed by bad presentation and plot layout, interesting setting overshadowed by stupid / cliche characters, out of nowhere twist and so on. It's like those shows with high production quality, but has no respect on viewers intelligence. |
