| Bege’s ship was pretty awesome. Oven doesn’t seem too bright almost destroying the cake. Wow I didn’t expect Pound to be taken out. RIP. |

| RIP Pound. That was sad that his daugthers didn't even know him 'till the end of his life. Oven trying to chase Bege's crew, but he failed. Bege's ship was cool though.. Finally Sanji's group get sail while Nami & the others still trying to run away from Big Mom. |

| I'm pretty sure Pound isn't dead, we didn't see a body (that's also the reason why i believe Pedro isn't dead yet). However, until that's confirmed, I'll admit his final moments were quite emotional. He truly loved his daughters even though he never met them. |

| Another supernova with a crazy ass ship,definitely impressed by Nostra Castello and also by Sanjis little demonstration of his leg power. Pounds sacrifice was like most of these moments in One Piece, pretty emotional.Now we have to see of he's really dead or not... I'm a bit disappointed,tho,cause it looks like Capone vs Oven is postponed or maybe even canceled. Sunny in a pinch,hoping for Jinbe in action, battles on the sea should be his speciality,but let's see what he can actually do against such an overhelming force. |

| Great chapter. Loved Bege's ship throwing Oven and co completely off guard. Sanji's showing off his leg power was awesome too. Pound was however the true hero of this chapter. The final few pages of this chapter were really emotional, The execution like scene coupled with his final words of apology to his daughter for not being able to be by her side were incredibly moving. The man truly loved the daughter's he never even met and that's beautiful in it's own way. Also the touch with Pez seeming able to identify Pound as an ally and initially smiling on seeing him, and finally crying at his death was really really well done. |

I'm pretty sure Pedro is dead, don't get me wrong, but I want to make sure it's 1000% confirmed first. Plus, I'm not saying that One Piece doesn't kill people, as I'm well aware that there have been several deaths in the series so far already. |

| Gotta admit, Bege's ship was freaking cool. Franky should do this with the Sunny as well. Pound saved the day albeit at the cost of his life. Lots of death in this arc. |

I get that Pell's situation was ridiculous, but that was 15 years ago. FIFTEEN YEARS. One Piece is different than it was back then, I'm sure Oda is different than he was back then and the editor is a different person (literally, in this case). I'm not saying Pedro is 100% dead since we haven't seen the body. And even if he really is dead, we most likely never will since it would be too much gore for One Piece. Same with seemingly decapitated Pound. However, using Pell's example is just insane, especially in the light of what has been actually happening in the recent years of the series. |

| It's very rare when someone dies in One Piece, so i'm not sure that Pound died. I expected Luffy to fight, but seeing Bege and Sanji was fine too. I thought the end of the arc would be when they screwed up the wedding for Big Mom, and here we are with lots of chapters later. I think we are really heading for the climax now. A final fight from Katakuri and Luffy, while the rest of the crew "gives" the cake to Big Mom, and escape. I'm not sure what else could happen. It's so weird that according to an interview last year, the story should have ended months ago, and we are just getting to the climax now. Either the source was really bad, or these interviews are not trustworthy. |

Editors are not a reliable information to tell how long an arc will be, since they will always try to hype. It doesn't help either that Oda is pretty terrible at planning how much it will take him to reach certain points in the story and has a tendency to underestimate the length of his own manga. |

Well, the Don from the filler arc had that power, meaning that the anime would imply the Don's death. But, hell, Pound...at least Pez may more or less recognized him as his grandfather. Either that or they're soulmates. |

| The more I see Begge the more I am starting to like this guy. He has some really big guts. At first I was kinda disappointed by the fact that we did not see Luffy fight but then again the preparation of the cake and its deliverance are as important; if not more. Also... damn that father is truly a tragic figure... I just hate Big Mom with all my might after seeing her doing shit like that. |

| Even if Luffy fight was not shown it was a sad and interesting chapter especially Chiffon's dad last words. That Oven is one boiling bastard in the moment, but I think Sanji will handle him fine. What exciting chapters to come, especially now Big Mom is closing in. |

Your sad like many others because of how he died. These same ugly characters seem to have had it the worse in One piece. Pound never got a chance to love his daughters or even hold them once in his arms. Banished to live in forest by his wife while being tormented by her children. Only got to see one of his children and that same child hadn't the faintest clue who he was and will never know from the looks of it. Only his grandchild knew someone who loves him just died and will have no memory of it as he gets older. So yeah its pretty sad. |

There is a chance Oven didn't even want to kill him since to a certain degree he is family. Can't wait to see what happens with the moon and shit. That will probably save them.
