| Well, I'm curious how you guys create your standards for an anime character to be called your "favorite". Like how can you differentiate your "favorite" anime character with the other anime characters you've seen. I'd like to know your insights. |

| There are no standards for an anime character to be my favorite. It simply flows in naturally within me. I watch a show. They show a character. Then it resonates with me and I think "Ah, I like this character a lot." |

| Depends on many factors, mainly their personality. Some other things would be their past, how they treat those around them. I'm attracted to the characters: (1) That mostly abandon everything for the sake of being around and protecting the MC (2) To the really obsessive comical characters who can hold their ground in times of trouble (3) To the cunning scheming sadistic types. Because things never get boring with such people around, it only gets even more interesting when the first and third type clash. |

| Just a stand out character that entertained me during the anime can be put on the list. I do have a clear bias towards female characters because of cuteness, but a total badass could easily be my favorite as well |

My criteria in deciding my favorite anime
A character should passed those four points (fits majority of my criteria) that I listed to be my favorite character. |

| A character needs to be awesome and be someone I can either admire or relate to in some way. Of course, I must also like their character design. |
| -Good design -Important role in the story -Likeable personality (this obviously varies depending of the characters) -Good voice acting -If we talk about an action series, he/she must has cool abilities -They must be memorable for me Those for general preferences, if we have to specify (if the character is male/female, if is an antagonist...), then it's another question. |
