| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The match feels somewhat dragged imo for the first half but good to see Eijun stepping up to the plate again to demonstrate why he is a skilled pitcher. He's carrying on the responsibilities of his team while also remembering his promises. Nice music used this episode too. He manages to strike out one of the most prominent players of the match, Todoroki. And that's really a feat I have to commend him for. Impressive and he also manages to strike out Sanada! |

| Sawamura's pitching was just intense as he was able to overcome Yakushi's strongest batters. Where it would've been too close for comfort for a lot of batteries out there simply added more to the enjoyment. It really is now or never for Seido's offense to shine and breakthrough. Although it can be a shame to see that there can be only one winner among two great teams. |

| Goddamn that beautiful pitch and teamwork between the Eijun-Miyuki battery. I loved the buildup to that point too, with Miyuki and Eijun's relay of thoughts and the flashback of their meeting. The whole sequence of the pitch was also very well animated. It's always nice to see just how great of a battery Eijun and Miyuki are, it's always emphasized whenever Eijun is on the mound. I also like how Mei asked Itsuki if he would do the same against such an opponent and under that kind of pressure. It shows just how daring Miyuki was to call for the pitch and how amazing Eijun was to accept and respond with such a perfect pitch. |

| Don't worry guys, it doesn't matter how skilled and recognized Sawamura is, everyone will suddenly forget it when Furuya comes back to play because Furuya's the only recognized ace for doing absolutely nothing. |

| Absolutely epic!! EIJUN is just way too fun to watch man. Striking out the clean up like a BOSS EVEN F***N RAICHI MAN!! EVEN F***N RAICHI!! And with a fast ball no less!! The amount of love I feel toward Eijun in these recent eps is at a dangerous level XD Gonna go gay lol Loved how even Kataoka guts posed. And the OST that played made it even better. Everyone gotta respect Eijun by now! Really glad Miyuki's injury isn't causing any drama :D |

| That episode went by so fast. It's great to see Sawamura killing it for a change, it's like he's got ice in veins. His scenes from this episode are my favorite of his from the entire series so far, not being over the top loud or comedic, just plain awesome. Now they just need to bring in Furuya to show everyone who's boss. |

| Wow, what an intense episode! I think it will be forever my favorite episode from season two DnA, even from season one. How much I love those flashbacks with Miyuki and Sawamura when their opponent (first opponent!) was Azuma! And showin it in the same moment when Raichi was at bat, wow! Great editing, bravo for producers, really. Also I am so hyped when I see Sawamura shine and this is exactly his momentum I was waiting to so much. I love Miyuki-Sawamura's battery and they are really one of hell best battery ever for me - their trust in each other, their thoughts about each other and thoughts about their playing together on diamond is all I love. So glad I could finally see it! Edit: And those sfx's when Sawamura's change-up's landed in Miyuki's mitt - AMAZING! Also I love other's thoughts about their battery. Even they saw their huge potential and trust in each other! |
