| Wonderful episode. Deep Emotional, and funny at times. This is such a great anime I'm rewatching it dubbed, which is also great. Didn't really notice before at the end when Al says he hears mom's voice. It's great how it all comes together at the end. I adore Hughes and the guy with the cigarette in his mouth. Oh and Lt. Hawkeye was such a bad ass, what would Mustang do without her. ^_^ |

| I must say I don't really favor the new OP. (-.-) It sounds like the OP of an action anime with mindless muscle dungheads and a bunch of full breast airhead whores. But the story of this anime still surpasses everything. And I bet I'll see more. In any case the song at the end is fairly acceptable. |
| I hate Armstrong, he has a mustache, but no mouth. So it constantly looks like his mustache is talking for him. |

| lots of revelations in this episode!!! was that Maes Hughes who was crazy about power and use Marcoh's amplifying alchemy?? and wow Armstrong, and Roy Mustang were brutal back then!!!!! wow Riza just side sweep Roy out in the rain since he can't use his alchemy XD Roy killed Winry's parents T___T must have hit hard to Edward and Alphonse. and wow Alphonse was half destroyed and Edward has to repair his arm once again. man the incident Ishbal must be a nightmare. lots of new things revealed in one episode. though i am curious as to what Marcoh was about to say about Scar's hand?? maybe in the next episode they'll explain it?? love this series ^^ |

Yes, because the episode where Winry was crying and saying her parents died, Ed said something along the lines of "They died? But both your parents were doctors" and she replies that that's precisely why they were sent to the battlefield and died there. |
| well that was a pretty amazing episode i have to say. i didn't expect the doctors who where killed to be Winry's parents and i am wondering what is up with scars arm and why the stone reacted to it so strongly. lets see whats next. |

I wonder if they're going to have to go see Winry again now to get Ed's arm fixed...His whole arm got blown off, so instead of transmuting it back together, I'd say he's going to need to replaced...We shall see. I wanna see Winry again! ^_^ Also, was Rose from Ishbal too? I was a bit fuzzy about that part... |
| The soldiers can't hit a darn thing when shooting their guns, but Marcoh can throw a stone at a moving person and hit him dead center of the palm lol. Gotta love it. :P Another fantastic episode! That sucks about Winry's parents. We already knew they were dead, but knowing the how and why makes it more sad. Also, the Fuhrer's secretary... Ed started at her last episode, and now Al said he heard their mom's voice. Is she their mom's sister or something? I wanna know! I'm really enjoying FMA. I can't wait to see what FMAB is like if it's better than this! -- 5/5 |
| The action had been denied previously, we are given back with interest, plus there are so many steps forward in the plot, the narrative also shows many ideas of interesting, in short, is really interesting this episode. Intriguing the way the character Winry falls through the back door to enter in the main story. |

| I love the bond between Ed and Al, it's so great. Also DANG it was Mustang who killed the Rockbell's in '03 FMA? I definitely did not expect that. I love the serious tone though. 5/5 |

| Well crap. Ed nearly died and Al wasn't in good shape either. Scar's alchemy is quite fearsome, although he doesn't seem to want to admit that it's alchemy. So Winry's parents were the ones who died... That really sucks. |

Also why didn't Scar just finish off Edward and Marcoh after he got that philosophers stone in his hand he clearly still had enough power to finish off two weak ass foes. Mad plot armor I guess, or it'll be explained later I guess. Hoping for the latter. |

| Now that's what I call a good episode! Great action with Scar fighting half of the military, important backstory on the genocide in Ishbal and how it scarred many alchemists, especially Roy and Marcoh. Powerful scene with the Rockbell execution and sad revelation for Ed and Al. Also curious to see what's behind the reaction of the philosopher stone with Scar's hand... | The reveal about Winry's parents at the end made me go wide-eyed lmao...this show is finally getting good. Can't wait to see what's next. |
