So another new episode.. It was okay I guess. I saw a Titanic reference, lol. We also get to know a little more about Arashi's past. I also thought that Arashi looked really pretty during the filming of that movie they were doing at her old school. Jun aslo finally believes that Arashi is actually a ghost, lol. Seems that Kaya was also reintroduced in this episode, and if I remember correctly, she was also shown in the first episode.

Was a pretty cool ep.

Kaya was in the first ep. She went back in time with Jun didn't she? Or was it a different girl?

I like how they pointed out how the yearbook went missing since they took it.

I laughed my ass off at the end when that girl was talking about the book she was reading and then it was about Hokuto no Ken. The impersonation was hilarious.

Not a bad episode. It's a shame it wasn't funny, otherwise I think it would have hit a really good medium between comedy and drama.

lets see when kaya will connect with jun. was a bit surprising that kaya was german, didnt know that germans had white hair^^;
but always some nice conflicts with the time, like the one with the diary.

Very good episode, this series is really growing on me with its great direction and warm yet melancholic atmosphere (and nice characters too). I think I like it more than School Rumble, in a slightly different style though.

Never getting tired of the op theme. Specially when all the girls making a pose combine with "... Kakete"

that guy is never gunna get his salt....

I thought it was a good episode, at least everything that seemed like non-sense in the first episode is starting to make sense little by little. Since Arashi and Kaja are ghosts I will have to assume that both of them did not survive the raids... kinda sad... but I liked Arashi and Kaja's first words in 60 years to each other.. "you're suppose to be a cute wonderful grandmother..." "oh well..."

Good stuff, this went from being a series that I would watch to burn some time to a weekly wait to see what happens next.

Yes Kaya was in the first episode but the first episode was furter in the story.

On a time line it would go:

episode 2 -> episode 3 -> episode 4 -> Kaya getting the job -> Kaya connecting with Jun -> episode 1

Loved this episode, great how this show can sometimes have some great comedy aswell as having a unique and interesting story and characters. The series seems like it's mainly going to just focus around developing the characters and i like the way it's doing it. Personally this anime stands out more than most for me this season. Can't wait to see more.

I was just waiting for the guy to ask for the salt, laughed so hard when he did. :P

Personally, my favorite OP of this season.

I really liked this episode, it felt more SHAFT-like than the others. And more time traveling, of course. It was neat how Arashi and Kaja met each other after 60 years.

I don't see how this show isn't more popular it's imo one of the better shows this season... and poor guy still hasn't gotten his salt XD!!! Also its nice to see the back story for certain characters developing... good thing they didn't just thrust the story upon you like the first episode makes you believe.

Best episode by far.

Much love for this ep; the lighthearted slice of life blended in perfectly with the serious plot and character development. If what's been scanned of the manga is any indication, this is where the series will just get better and better.

Checked where Okurayama is...on the train line I used to ride to go to school. If I recall my Yokohama geography that establishes the connection between the school and mention of the Tsurumi River in episode 3. The river is north-east/east of Okurayama.

The tie in song with this episode is another classic that mentions Yokohama & Yokosuka. There's a definite pattern here...Anyways, enjoying the series in spite of the distracting trivia facts.

I feel like the synopsis needs to get rewritten. Covering events up to episode 4 isn't usuala and there was really no need for that.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron
