What a great chapter this was. Thorfinn is back home after 16 years (if I am correct) and what family reunioun that was, emotional with mother and hilarious with sister. He wasn't the only one who inherited something from "The Troll of Jom" .And even Thorfinn#2 showed us more of his personality and he is quite funny. I wonder how long will they stay until comes next jurney...

Lol Thorfin gets beat up by his sister. She sure is huge for a woman.
Great chapter, nice reunion.

Odin gracious Ylva is still entertaining as ever. A nice reunion indeed and damn great chapter. Too bad it's pretty short.

Ylva should be called "Ylva the feels destroyer"

Ylva <3

I liked Arneis and her story pulled at my heart's strings, but it's nice to see strong women in this manga for a change. Also, just as I expected, Ylva and Ari ended up tying the knot. I wonder if some villagers would end up following Thorfinn to Vinland.

Looks like Thorfinn was murdered. Story over, just in time for the 100th chapter. That's all folks. *mangaka tips hat*

Ylva is so manly for a woman. I like this type of reunion though. It's comedic in place of being overly dramatic.
I've been waiting forever to see their reactions to the grownup Thorfinn.

Good stuff, really curious to see the authors intended path for Thorfinn. Considering the time period it sure is going to be difficult for him to avoid fights, despite his mad skills. Its nice to have some comic relief though in such an almost always serious story.

This is easily the funniest chapter so far. I normally don't like that kind of humour(you see it far too much in shounen) but it just felt really cathartic here. Ylva seemed to inherit more masculinity from the legendary Thors than Thorfinn did. Lol

Ylva is a true daughter of Thors. That strength!

Quite the enjoyable chapter. And interesting that the reunion happened on the 100th chapter, it's nice seeing him finally back with his family.

Just read through all the chapters in a day and man this chapter was a real great way to give Thorfinn a real genuine happy moment.

The second half of Vinland Saga actually surprises me a lot, it reminds me of Vagabond, but of course in its own right and I'm loving it so far.

To be honest, I don't know how I feel about the series new direction. It's going to be interesting to see how the story will unfold in the future.

A heroes welcome! Or not, fun chapter, good to have a chapter dedicated to light hearted humor after all the suffering and madness that's preceded us. This manga knows how to read the flow of the story and the mood, it's nice and not at all abrupt.

Uh, well that reunion certainly didn't go as I thought it would. Still, it was quite a satisfying chapter just as it was supposed to be. Ylva had to take care of the family as the "man", so she's furious as a bear haha.

So the chapters marks the end of the volume 14 of book 7, for me also the culmination of the "Farm" arc which I though it was great still, quite some development there, still some action, was never bored, IMO this was much better than earlier chapters, not quite as the latter ones of the first arc but noneless.

The master was a weak man that succumbed to being asshole, after all his previous actions, it was kinda sad to see that being his fate, he was a kind old man before, old master was great and the farm seems to be in good hands now.
Plot was written really well, left me divided specially since no one was really wrong, it was Canute's approach that made things worst but at the end at least he changed his ways, he was still learning and all, I m sure this lead in on better path.
Thorfinn grown alot, I can now see similarities with his dad Thor, and can now understand how Thor ended up like that.
Einar was a cool addiction too, the future looks very interesting, with the true goal of the MC now set in stone, which is very important from a narrative standpoint.

Ylva should've go for the battlefield, no one would stand a chance.

Enjoyed this chapter a lot. Was great to have something lighthearted for a change.

This Chapter for me feels like the real closure to the Farmland arc.

Seeing Thorfinn get back home was heartwarming to say the least. Good to see his mom has not forgotten about him. Ylva kinda did though.

I'm gonna be honest with you guys. I do not like the way that this story is going. Like Thorfinn was this total badass fighting machine and then two years pass and he looks like a withering old man. I thought it was cool that he was acting all incognito and suppressed his urges to fight and I was hoping that he was gonna be forced to have to go absolutely berserk like he did at the end of the first arc...

Now it kind of feels like this story is going in a direction where Thorfinn is trying to end all of war and create a land of peace... Like I thought it was gonna be Thorfinn vs. Canute for the remainder of the series. Like Thorfinn builds himself up from slavery and creates an anarchist resistance group to overthrow Canute's abuse of power. I just don't like the way that this story is going, but I am probably going to continue reading it.

I liked the nostalgic dynamics, and the idea of growth represented. Most notably really enjoyed the comedic elements of Ylva not believing Thorfinn is real.

thorfinn finally meeting his mother was so wholesome.
as for his sister, lmaooo. she strong af. knocked him unconscious with just one punch. haha, but i understand her frustration. he had been gone too long and they must be worried sick. thinking he's dead. must be hard all these years, living with that thought.
