What got me into the anime world was FMA and subsequently FMA Brotherhood. I was impatient for the last episode, so I've read the final parts of the manga to know what happened. That was my first real encounter with this medium. While I continued warching anime for some time I became focused mainly on reading manga.

When I changed the profile pic and the pic in about me, you are the last person who I thought would ask about the VN kek. Well, I read it like a year ago, and it was good. It's mostly character-centric and story is not it's strongest point, the main strengths are its self awareness, flamboyant characters and their clash of ideologies, the references to various classics in literature are interesting too. Not in my top 10 series as you can see but some of the characters are pretty great, it's a hit or miss VN though since some parts are dragged and convenient(which is a commentary itself).
Don't bother with the manga, like the anime, it's rushed as hell.
Tbf upto cochlea it was a decent read, but yeah this will probably end with a setup for part 3, with Touka dying or something after getting so much plot armour and leaving kaneki with the child
I feel that kaneki personality hasn't improved much really despite all these transformation and hairstyle changes. And I won't be surprised at this point if they bring back Arima lol, like the numerous fake deaths before.
I think I went slow with tg and first half of tg re and a slightly faster for the second half of tg re, since I didn't really care much for this half, full of plot armours, conveniences and inconsistencies. Went faster with Kingdom tho I think
