What got me into the anime world was FMA and subsequently FMA Brotherhood. I was impatient for the last episode, so I've read the final parts of the manga to know what happened. That was my first real encounter with this medium. While I continued warching anime for some time I became focused mainly on reading manga.

Yeah, it's been on my ptr for months now. I finally decided to read it. I like it so far esp the characters (and the otaku MC lol).
Try out shinsekai yori then after you complete kara no kyoukai that is, s; g 0 is upto you :> or you can fast track KoT read too but that will be difficult with umineko I guess.
Pretty much yes, and don't forget that the observer can get fooled in a number of ways. For example when you are watching as piece battler, you can easily get trolled(this is important in answers arc).

Action really makes you speed read. As for SoL and mystery or any dialogue-heavy manga, I read slowly. But hey, I still forgot a lot of details XD

Now I'm thinking why I started to like lesser-known manga lol. It's hard sometimes when you don't have someone to talk about it especially if it's a good one.
Ever since I joined MAL, I always check how long a manga is since I experienced that too: I waited only to know that it's the last chapter already. I can imagine the pain of knowing that it is dropped after reading volumes of it XD That's what I experienced with Vagabond. Tho not dropped, it's on hiatus.
I can take it I guess. I just hope I'll still remember what happened in the last chapters when I read it again.
Well there are as it is more popular than manga. The average rated manga can't even compare to the avg. rated anime lol

Hopefully it'll continue next month. I'm thankful that I read so much nowadays to distract myself from waiting.
