| I'm speechless. I cried, I really did. This episode was just perfect, the last scene were Itachi said to Sasuke he doesn't have to forgive him and bring his head closer instead of the poking he used to do was exceptionally great. My heart just broke there. Brilliant. 10000/10 I must resist the urge to put him into my favorites. Whoops too late. |

| Whoah. I don't comment on Naruto Shippuden episodes, even when I like one very much, which is really rare, but I think that this one was so good that I just can't deny it acknowledgement. The final moment between Sasuke and Itachi was so much better and touching than in the manga(unlike how it back then with original Naruto). Sasuke's given emotions that I really can't remember seeing from him ever before, and that adds new depth to his character. This final moment was powerful enough to see in a new light Sasuke's whole story. The music theme was so good as well, it immersed me totally, and the ED followed the episode so perfectly. |

| Holy shit that Itachi moment turned me in an emotional wreck, I was nearly crying, god I hate how utterly fucked up his life used to be... Well at least he got the chance to tell Sasuke the truth once and for all and properly say farewell, and things luckily didn't end with Sasuke not knowing anything/still hating his big brother but still, way too sad for such an amazing character. |
| Ah, so itachi flicking sasuke's forehead was symbolic of pushing sasuke away to keep him away from harm. But at the final moments it looked liked itachi was going to flick sasuke but actually brought their heads together, showing that he's finally able to let go and be content with his relationship with sasuke now. |

| This has to be one of the best episodes I've seen, it was so perfect. That Madara greatness, Itachi's departure.. damn. Madara is so entertaining, I love this dude. & that Sasuke/Itachi moment... we've seen that flashback 38485 times but I don't care, it still gives me chill. Itachi will be missed, I will always love you. This episode's title was very appropriate. ∞/5. |

| Fantastic 10/10 Itachi's speech to sasuke and telling him the truth made me break down in tears very powerful and hard hitting emotionally. Also let's not forget Madara's perfect susanoo and the kages will to fight against such a strong enemy. One of the best episodes I've seen it's up there with naruto and pain's fight. |
| ughhhghgg we had to go through itachi’s death once again it hurts so much... i’m glad he didn’t flick his forehead this time.. “i will love you always” T__T itachi is such an impactful and loveable character. now that sasuke saw how it went exactly i wonder how much hatred he must feel lol i understand him somewhat bc i can’t stand the sight of those elders!!!! why put a CHILD through this mf they are pushing 100 and can’t prevent a war on their own. but oh well. madara was so cool i’m kinda sad he’s leaving too bc i feel like we didn’t even see half of who he really is. |

| someone would fix me if i'm wrong, but the conclusion of itachi massacre retold is that he really didn't do that for the village, but for sasuke? anyhow that was great ep, each episode in this arc is just better than the previous one. and to be true, i actually wanted madaara eda-tensei to show more of his awesome powers, really too bad. |

I think it's not that he did it for Sasuke. In the choices he was given, his clan will be destroyed either way to save Konoha. His choices were all bad anyway XD (1) Side with the Uchiha and die with them (or start a war if the Uchiha clan wins). (2) Allow Konoha shinobi to eliminate everyone - including Sasuke and himself. (3) Do the killing himself and save Sasuke. Saving Sasuke just happens to come with the option with the most number of survivors - 2. Though of course, I'm not discounting that his love for Sasuke is also a reason for choosing option 3. |
