| well it's not bad. this guy is definitely a cocky little prick. how the hell did his controller make a dent in the wall when he threw it? a game into reality isn't new stuff lately, but using bombs kinda is. and at the end OH HEY BOOBS. cool. could be going with an adult theme with this chick. could be good. |

| Good start to the series, although it was unbelievable that 4 bombs didn't kill him yet 1 killed the other guy.. Anyway, another thing I do not like are the bombs instead of guns or other, I'm not too interested in bombs only. But, I would still like to watch the series, so I don't mind all too much. My hunch is that that girl is his in-game wife, but it's just a hunch. I just hope there aren't too many stereotypical enemies such as that guy (clueless), and maybe he'll make some friends. Anyway, 4/5, looking forward to next episode to learn about another character. I, like many others, like the OP. |

| i remember ages ago just reading random chapters of this spoiling myself but i don't remember any of it..kinda besides the start and that there's a lot of gore lol. OP is sweet Ending has a nice instrumental.. |

It looked like it was gonna be interesting, but it failed to attract in this episode. I hope it evolves into a "collaboration and fight against the system" type of story (kind of like SAO), instead of sticking with the mundane battle royale route. Overall, very disappointed. And this one of my most hyped anime of fall 2012 too... :S It better get better in the next few eps. |

My "flaws" were just about his general actions(attitude towards his mother, happiness with being a NEET, and overall laziness). And right now, I'm expecting it to be mirai nikki + sword art online + bombs. It looked like it was gonna be interesting, but it failed to attract in this episode. | Great to have a MC who isn't in high school for once. The visual motif and themes were very Madhouse which I liked. I liked Ryota's thoughts and actions this episode, they seemed very believable if someone in real life was placed in this kind of situation. Next week should be interesting |
| People should hold off on judging the MC; anyone who read the manga knows he gets better as it goes along; the fact that he didn't want to work and did nothing but play games will be explained (whether its a explanation you like or not is a different story) but point is you shouldn't judge a character based on one episode. |

But aside from what I've seen, all I've heard from the people that have seen all of it, is that it is a bunch of kids killing each other at some island. :S Maybe the novel is much better, but not so much the movies. I said that I'm gonna watch the next few episodes to see if it'll get better. When I was talking about the "fight against the system" stuff, that was simply what I was hoping for it to evolve into down the track. I really am just tired of the "rumble-pit; fight to the death" premise. |

But I really hope that it turns out to be different. :/ Heck, i would probably get over it being another "fight to the death" series if the characters were better (Read: the MC better becomes less of a moron and more of a bad ass by episode 5). Oh, and the people sent there better not be only the top 10. Because oh god if it is, the "top 10 in the world" must suck so much. I mean that guy must've missed like 30 times, some of which the mc was standing perfectly still. |

If i recall its because that guy was a drug addict so he wasn't right in the head thus his aim was off; as for him becoming an expert bomber its the concept of using game concepts in real life fighting. While its a little BS, its not as bad as it would have been if it were guns since this is more about strategies on how and when to use your bombs and when to run away etc etc |

| As somebody who've read the manga, not really enjoying this tbh. The seiyuus are not what I think they should have been, the OP/ED and OST are mediocre at best. The animation is okay, could be much more fluid. Adaptation wise, it did an okay job again. I'm just here to see Himiko anyway. |

| That first enemy bomber looks like he was on drugs, his eyes were creepy! The MC's mom looks like a zombie, I was creeped out by her. I liked the opening sequence song. I haven't read the manga yet. |

| First episode is quite good actually, for those who have already read the manga and knew that the mc isn't a useless scumbag xD, he might have problems in his real life, being a hikkimori, play games all day, but that's how the story works( if he isn't, then btoom wouldn't exist in the first place). He's gonna be more mature later on, a badass or at least he uses his brain more than muscles. And people who haven't read the manga first, his weak and coward characteristic in the beginning could be a thing they dislike the show. Himiko is pretty much a mobile fanservice device, I do like her though. Music is good, 7/10 overall, I enjoy this episode. Not gonna watch low quality raw 2nd episode though. |
