| Haha seems like everyone has different views about the characters. I don't mind Tohru or Kyo. :P Quite a sad backstory about Hatori and Kana... You can see why he would want to prevent the same thing from happening again. I can't help but wonder, still, if it will happen... (Could the whole "Hm? Deja vu?" thing when Tohru said she was going to be hot drinks be some sort of foreshadowing? Hmm or maybe that's reading too much into it, haha.) |
| Actually yeah. Akito screamed at Kana, but wasn't really her fault in the slightest.. was it. Akito seems like a horrible leader from what we've seen so far. "The curse" = Akito going mad, hurting Hatori, then Kana for some random reason believes Akito when he says its her fault? The more i think of it the less sense this entire episode makes. |

| I am starting to like this anime more and more each ep, I remmember at firts I wasn't reall so interested but now I think it is great! The story was so sad! But if the girl was supposed to be of the same family isn't she a animal? Maybe I didn't understand well that part =) |

Maybe I didn't understand well that part =) well if they're in the family it doesn't really mean that they turn to animals only few of the souma's family are part of the zodiac and the rest of the souma's are average people pretty good episode. Cried through most of this episode gah I'm such a softy for theses kind of stories >; |

| wow, this ep was a definite tear jerker for me, this curse is just too cruel, in a way it reminds me of air because of how it affects ones ability to fall in love, but this is definitely on a much larger scale because of how much deeper the romance is compared to air and the mood is alot more dramatic as well |
| Sad episode with Hatori's only personal possession in his office being a picture of Kana. I want to find out more about why the family was cursed in the first place. |

| Hatori's story is so sad. It's unfortunate that Kana isn't strong enough to handle the pressure from Akito. I hope they get together in the future. If not, I hope Hatori finds another girl. It's been revealed in this episode that the life of the cursed 12 really is tragic and sad. |

| Love how they handled Hatori's story. The use of music, along with the images....pretty powerful all around. Definitely a defining episode for the series. |

| Potentially the best episode in the show. Really sad though. My first impressions of Akito are not favorable. After just finishing LOGH, hearing Attenborough VA Inoue, Kazuhiko as Hattori made his tragic love life all the more impactful. Attenborough had poor luck with women as well, going through a divorce earlier and then distancing himself from females. At first seeing Hatori and his sweet female Kana made me happy that he was finally getting some love, but it turned sour quickly. Easy 5/5 |

| Such a sob story :'( Hatori is a bro in the end. And Akito seem like a bitch. I can already call it, he's (she's?) the source of all their goddamn problem. He look like somekind of cult leader. |

| This episode was pretty Incredible, shed a few manly tears at this dudes really sad backstory, and the way it affects Hatori is like she died but didn't and to be honest that might a little more tragic since he knows she's still out there not remembering a thing. |
| If they can't marry someone from outside of the family, then how the heck do they have kids? Do they just need permission on who they can marry from Akito? Then you can never hug who you're married to. That sucks. :P |

| I think I read up to this part in the manga, finding out about Hatori's past. I feel like the manga did it differently and much more emotionally. |

| hatori background story is awful, really sad. we finally get to see akito, didn't thought he would act like this in that memory. and that scene tohro talked about the curse gave me chills. |
| How do these anime from the 2000's always make me cry like that. The stories are always so well developed. I cried the whole time, it was so sad yet perfect. |
