| K-ON doesn't have any and that's a show eith 5 girls as main characters. Showing skin =/= fanservice. There's an episode where they go to the beach and wear bathing suits because *gasp* girls wear bating suits when they go to the beach, but nothing is ever remotely sexualized. |

BAsically yes, if fanservice is taken as the general term, then I can't even think of one series where you cannot point out fanservice of any kind. ANime is very fanservicy to begin with. kids anime maybe could fit the bill... |

There's also plenty of those. At least all childrens anime, shonen for the young, shojo, seinen and josei anime contain none of the elements you speak of. The genre used for fanservice is "ecchi" and to a certain extent also "hentai", but in that last case you probably can't call it fanservice anymore. Some shows have the Ecchi tag for the sake of sex and not because sex is "funny". At least from what I saw. |
