| 5/5 Plot very effective, as there is plenty of room for all and introspection, great! As always engaging narrative, the distribution of times is good about the characters, does not focus too much on any character. Chiaya is MC of the episode, but the others are no less seems to see a head to head between Chihaya and Taichi! Even opponents are very charismatic. Naphthalene-kun is hilarious! LOL Great colors and designs BGM! * _ * |

| CHIHAYA!!!!!! That was a nice move by Sudo-ku. Placing the Chihaya card at the center to distract her, but Chihaya at the end prevailed. It was a tough series as Chihaya's team won 3-2 in the end. "No looking at porn" XD, the manager telling Wataya that. The neko goes to the store just to sleep lol |

| An impressive showdown. Sudou doesn't disappoint, Nishima's barrel roll is excellent as well. Mashima's play style is intense too, that alone makes it intriguing. Avoiding mistakes takes quite a bit of effort. |

| I hate players like Sudo... apart from the Chihara card tactic which I thought was quite cool. You can tell there is not much sportsmanship for these guys. There is a fine line between using your wits, and mental tactics to wear down an opponent to just plain playing dirty because you lack the confidence to win fair and square. How many timeouts do you need Sudo-kun? Holding up everyone because you need a breather. If everyone acted like you the sport will practically go on a standstill. Like those idiots that conveniently lose their legs and shamelessly flop around the opposition goalposts like a fish on the football grounds and boxers that get away with cheap shots. No respect for these guys. |

| We all know that Nishida deserves that Class A with that barrel roll. That match made me nervous but their picture in the end made me so happy. Taichi's laugh at the end was so pure and Arata's head tilt was so cute as well. Arata looks like a proud father. |

| Damn that was nice. Almost teared up there at the end. And I'll say it again, Taichi is so damn awesome. Chihaya's skill is undebatable, but Taichi's firmness and stability... damn. And he's not the petty jerk he was back in grade school. He's really the most mature of them all. |

| Chihaya's infatuation with Arata and treating him literally like a (Karuta) god is getting so annoying that I'm now rooting for Taichi, even though I couldn't stand him at first. At the end of the day, he's the one who seems like the underdog, despite being kind of an "ikemen" perfect Gary Stu type. No matter how perfect he is, he's still up against a "god" (as far as Chihaya is concerned). But I really hope the show doesn't stray too far from Karuta (like now) and goes into full on love triangle drama. |
| S of Sudo stands for sucker because he took a big L there by acting overconfident. Quite the intense match and I'm glad Chihaya and the rest managed to win. |

| A specky weirdo tarot dork schoolkids is funny, a specky weirdo tarot dork ojii-san is uncomfortable as hell. Honestly, I liked him having a valid excuse for not seeing the messages. It makes Arata come across as far less mean, and I need whatever they give me to not dislike the guy for trashing my ship. Fox eyes and Chi are both total shits so seeing them rile one another up was really satisfying~ |

| Chihaya adjusted her hearing to the reader's vocal quirks? The absolute depth of the strategies of the game in this show, man. I love it. Of course "Chihayafuru" had to be the game-winning card. Wouldn't have had it any other way. |
| I like how Chihaya never gave up on Arata even after she literally had no contact with him over the years , and even after she heard the truth about him. Hopefully Arata starts his comeback at some point. Lmao, he'll probably have to practice hard to actually get to Chihaya's level. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
