| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- President Aria is weird. It's eyes have no irises and are on its cheeks. It's extremely fat and has bushy eyebrows. It's tail is a ball, and it walks on its hind legs. And instead of "nya" it says, "Puy nya." Is it supposed to be some sort of Aqua mutation of a cat? |

| Aria the Animation: making a full episode of an irisless cat whining about how unneeded he is and then becoming a superhero wannabe, and actually making this fun and interesting. Yes, that's what I love about this show; I can have fun watching even when I have an headache. |

| AWWWWWWW PRESIDENT ARIA. MY LOVE FOR YOU INCREASED AFTER WATCHING THIS EPISODE. Although now I'm thinking that you're not an ordinary cat and might be super cat or some sort, lol. Okay so the first part, Depressed Cat, was suprisingly touching. It's good to see an episode about Aria alone. I felt sad for him when he ran away home. You don't need to do anything President Aria! Just stay cute and that'll do the job! What made me crack up was when the bird came to him and ate his rice ball, lol. The second part was hilarious but the ending was suprisingly mixed with melo-drama. I loved how the Hime president didn't recognize Aria and fell in love with him but after Aika mentioned his identity, Hime was like "Oh fuck you." Lmfao. The ending was also win. Good to see Aria succeed in his mission. :3 |
| It's not really explained in the anime, but in other materials it is noted that the cats on Neo Venezia are indeed far more intelligent than the normal cats of today - this extends to ALL of them, though only Aria gets that much attention. |

| Episode 8 takes an interesting approach in that it follows, not our Undines, but our beloved President Aria. I thought that was an interesting idea, and it was very funny watching him in this split episode. | Another bad episode, the first 6 episodes were great so I don't see how this is suddenly falling apart so quickly, almost as if the message and the relaxing feel of the series has been torn from the show, holding out hope that this is just temporary and the series will recover in the next couple of episodes. |

| Meh, these past couple episodes have been pretty weak compared to the first 6 episodes, especially episode 5 which was incredibly relaxing and heartwarming. Hopefully things come back up to par in the remaining episodes of this first season of Aria. |
