| What the heck did I just watch. I have the feeling I'm going to need to immediately re-watch this series to understand what's going on. I do appreciate "realistic" gore for once, though, instead of Noboru-Iguchi-film-esque bloodsplosions everywhere I'm used to seeing. |

| amazing episode :D really captures the 1930s feel and it's noir style of telling :) the anime is pretty brutal too yet it still feels like a light hearted show for show reason XD good stuff!! also love the music here!! really feels like your in the 1930s with all that jazz and all!! this is nice!!! can't wait for more episodes!! |
| I watched it twice to get a better understanding. Great storytelling. And Norio Wakamoto is awesome. I'm not that excited about mafia and regeneration though. |
| 4/5 Very highly recommended by users, almost out of curiosity I started this anime, the impact was a bit demoralizing in a way, but in another it is also exciting, because of the many characters seen in the opening and for the weft senseless, for now , but very complex and intriguing. In light of this my vote does not reach the top! |

| This is doing my head in with all the characters. Like DRRR, I'm probably going to be pausing every now and then and trying to make sense of how the characters are related to one-another. Good episode, seems like fun. |

| This seems like a nice way to start things off. There were quite a lot of characters to introduce, so the episode didn't have much of a focus, but I'm liking all of the characters so far, as well as the setting. Also, the concept of them all being immortal seems interesting, I'm definitely curious to see where this goes. :) |

| TBH I got confused in here, but I think I will understand as I progress through. It was interesting at first, such as some supernatural powers like the healing ability and some kind of war of the Mafia territory. Going to keep watching this :D. The characters in here I need to get used to them, and animation of it looks appealing btw. |

| Well the opening music was awesome, it lets us see some of the characters in the story but boy there other characters too, so time to start putting my mind into work here lol, the ending was pretty cool too showing us the faces of some of the characters too. | This was recommended to me to watch and so far I like the prohibition 1930s atmosphere, but... The narrative was too fragmented to my taste and exposition of many characters wasn't done well as there was barely enough time to introduce everyone with so many people they tried to fit into one episode. They should rather took slower approach, concentrate on few of them adding other chars later, that would be certainly better. Not fan of many character's overreacting either when they are trying to portray tense atmosphere. And as those introductions went there also wasn't enough time to tell anything of overall story other than some Immortals are coming back together. I want to have hope that everything that happened during this first ep would have its own meaning later but so far this wasn't exactly good start. |
| First of all, I LOVE this time period of the 1930s, especially when crime is involved. The music is great, the clothing is great, I just love everything that goes into it. While I appreciate the setting and music of the show, the first episode left me extremely confused. Too many characters with a plot jumping all over the place. After reading a summary of the episode, I got a better idea what happened, but I'm still a bit lost. Anyways, it's only the first episode, so I can't judge too much yet. If I can eventually understand what's going on, this looks like a show I'm gonna love. |

| Lots of Durarara vibes as expected, a few parts felt dragged due to lack of exposition, i just hope it doesn't fall victim to the same issues as Durarara where there was just far too many characters and not enough time to flesh things out. |

| Whoa, I was not expecting Baccano to be like this! I liked the art and music immediately, then jumped a couple inches out of my seat when the kid got his head blown off! The Immortal stuff is interesting though, and I like the characters so far. And I'm most certainly interested to see where this goes! A little confused, admittedly, but it's only the first episode. Amazing start! ★5/5 |

| It was alright. I'm interested to see how they will fit all the characters into a 13 episode anime though. |
