| NONONONONONONONONONONONO. It really was wolves that killed his family. At least that's what I got with Quent having seen Darcia at the fire. At least he died knowing that a wolf tried to save him. This is turning into the most depressing thing I've ever seen. Darcia must DIE. Actual spoiler about Darcia's fate: This time I'm not expecting Hubb to die next episode. |

| What? So they're killing them off one by one? Damn this is depressing...Toboe D: Quent was in so much denial, but I can't even hate him now after this episode. It took Toboe to sacrifice for Quent for him to realize that they weren't bad creatures, and right before him own death too. And then Hige wanting to separate from them, Blue wanting to go wherever he goes...Kiba and Tsume already knew it too. I guessing they'll never reach paradise, huh. And I really wonder wtf Darcia is. If he is neither human nor wolf, then why would he be able to go to paradise too? I bet he can't get there... |

| ...If the series keeps this up, this ending might just redeem the problems I've had with the show until now. These last 2 episodes have been amazing. It taking place as the world's ending allows for a really great backdrop and focus on the characters, and it's been breathtaking so far. |

| Fuck man... I always had a bad feeling that this is the way things would go. If Toboe and Quint really just died... then it's probably going to be only Kiba in the end. It always disturbed me with the ending theme video being only Kiba running alone. I really hope that isn't how it goes but I can't shake the fear. In regards to people not liking the OVA, as I understand it it's not really much of an OVA... due to legal issues at the time ,this was only separate due to legal issues at the time, thus why the 4 recap episodes were made... these just fill in that lost time frame. So it isn't merely a sequel, but the literal final 4 episodes just separated against their will. Personally I'm usually one to hate bland backgrounds and the like... but aside form the fact that most of the series was like this, as the world was pretty much already in ruin... the only reason this is so bleak now is to emphasize the world ending and the forlorn-ness of it all. So I think it's fitting here. |
