Good to see this this anime back. It always had a fluffy feeling to it.

This episode had a lot of characters came back and it also involved making some delicious sweets! Azusa is still stands out a lot and has that unofficial leader vibe among the cast. Everyone is all smiles and seems like this season will be just as heartwarming as the previous one. Lot of fluffy episodes incoming.

Novelist Kisetsu Morita's Slime Taoshite 300-nen is finally back after 4 years, and the anime now bringing a brand-new studio to take care of its sequel for its premiere work.

Azusa Aizawa and the gang are back in their ever-loving house, and everything feels the same as it was before with the big family.

Azusa wanting to go to the Southern Forest to find some herbs, but she found both rice and red beans instead to make azuki red bean dumplings for Falfa and Shalsha. Between her and few of the family, the manju...just doesn't look quite right, and try again they did with Flatorte, and at least it looks the part for the slime sisters to give their approval. And selling the manju to the masses at least proves that the Witch of the Highlands has her reputation. Haibara taking one step further to have stamp cards from the goddess Mega-mega going around to have TED talks.

Going a far distance to the provincial city of Vitamei, Azusa, Haibara and Shalsha going to see goddess Mega-mega's event...which is more akin to stand-up comedy with serious talk, both go the long way given how Azusa was reincarnated into the fantasy world. Even more so, is the Virtue Stamp card that Mega-mega is marketing to rally people together. And as if that's any indication, the private meeting between Azusa and the Goddess, who's meeb demoted to local admin for summoning 17-year-old girls and below, she's quite the obsession for someone who cheats her way up the system, only for karma to come down on her.

Oh well, if the Witch is happy with her family, that's all that matters.

With Yui Ogura's OP, the series is back to a delightful return.

Our favorite slime killer is back and we didn't have to wait 300 years this time.
It's nice to see the cast doing well and we got some more info about the goddess even if it wasn't much.
They are all as easy going as always.

My comfort anime is back! The only noticeable differences were the dip to the art style and quality, and they buffed Azusa a little bit lol. Other than that, can't wait for the next episodes to come.

A great start to the new season with the introduction of all the important characters.

The show’s cuteness level didn’t drop one bit, and we got to see the goddess who reincarnated Azusa into this new world, where she meets her new and wonderful family.

Already looking forward to the next episode!

One thing just yelled at when I first opened this episode, that being that everything has gotten significantly brighter lmao. Honestly, I think I kinda dig it more than season one's style, but I need some more episode before I make my final verdict.

Visuals aside, yeah, it's just the same old' Slime 300 from so long ago lol. Won't complain, it's always fun to see these knuckleheads do... knucklehead things together lmao. Episode was just kinda like putting the shoe back on after so long more or less, so yeah, no much happened, but still.

My only question for this season... how much more can we truly expand this family this season... and the biggest one of them all, can that house even begin to fit them!?!

Azusa and her family is back, and they're as cute as ever. Fun first episode where they cook and travel, exactly like in the first season.

A different studio for the new season means a different art style. I miss the first season's starry sky (even in daylight). Animation quality seems to have taken a slight dip, but considering this seems to be studio Teddy's first anime project as the main studio, I can give it a pass.

EP 1

Slime 300 is BAAACK
I actually only recently watched slime 300 (by recently i mean like in jan)
And i already rewatched it several times the anime is so good
My only worry is that s1 already had like 8 or 9 ish girls and if they add any more the cast is already gigantic which is a noticeable issue with the eps

The other question is how is season 2 going to be similar or different to s1

Its always curious how they adapt this
A bit of a slow ep compared to s1 where it felt like they were racing every episode

I tink the main issue is pacing of fast and slow and content where its like
They try to cram a lot into one ep
At the same time not much happens

For the most part its like short stories of sorts
So the streak of bel showing up ever since her introduction is gone bel didnt show up at all this time aside from mentally speaking

Hope the op/ed doesnt have spoilers although uhhh
Is that ogura yui? i was kinda expecting yuki aoi again
Hmm

EDIT: Megami is...inoue kikuko
Somehow im not surprised I shoulda known it would have been
Though it is surprising to hear she sounds quite normal

When 4 years didn't feel that long at all. CGDCT Isekai is back, still a fun watch, but the novelty I felt when watching S1 has worn off for me.

“I am the happiest witch who ever lived” Peak comfy isekai is back! Can’t believe it’s been 4 years since season 1 and volume 1 of the LN is still collecting dust in my house lmao 😂 this was just as sweet as I remember it and a nice reintroduction to this cast.

Such a cozy and wholesome watch, really enjoyed seeing the girls TRY to cook. Didn’t work out as intended, but them just spending time together is enough for me. This is what I needed on my Saturdays.

The goddess virtue stamp card was pretty cute. Gods becoming an industry in this world reminded me of Kamikatsu. Only thing we were really missing is a silly useless goddess and we got that today lol.

Sweet first ep back

The upgrade in animation from s1 to s2 is so insane that I genuinely didn't know what I was watching until I rewatched all of the 1st season. And the op from Yui was downright amazing. I have strangely high hopes for this season.

The anime that has no dark spots. The anime that makes fun of the tropes of fantasy and isekai. The anime that is so sweet with just the right amount of tanginess.

Yay! The second season of an anime that is in my Top 10 favourites is here! One of my all-time fav CGDCT shows. Been waiting 4 years for this. Glad it's back and glad to see Azusa and everyone else again. Love this series so much. Bought some of the light novels and manga volumes. This will be the first time that I'll be going in fully blind for the entirety of the season, as I read a few chapters of the manga before the first season was even announced. Now I'll get to enjoy an entire cour of the show without knowing what'll happen next, even if it is just a slice of life. Anime of the season for me by default because it's one of my all-time favourite shows, and hoping it gets more seasons in the future like Yuru Camp.

First episode was exactly what I expected — light, fun, and with that ‘nothing really happens but that’s okay’ vibe. Azusa is still the mom of the whole crew, and I legit laughed at the magical café scene turning into chaos out of nowhere 😂.

It’s not the most groundbreaking anime out there, but if you liked season one, everything’s right where it should be. Just sit back and chill.

They're back, and the whole family is back as well. Falfa and Shalsha are as adorable as ever, and the rest of them are doing their usual shenanigans. Azusa is having the best time of her life in this world as a witch. Life's good. We sold stuff at the market and went to the Goddess's show.

Azusa wants a bigger chest from the goddess but was rejected. LOL.

Nothing's over the top except a good light-hearted enjoyment. S1 was a fun watch and It's back again. To live like this wholesome SOL for eternity is sure a blessing for Azusa. Welp, considering her dreadful "Karoshi" past, she deserves every bit of it.

PS: That Goddess though, *smh*

this new studio Teddy did an OK job with their first-ever TV anime. but it just wasn't as high quality as Revoroot's work on S1. the character designs were spot on, but there were tons of closeups. so we didn't see the characters interacting or moving in the backgrounds with medium or long-shots very often. the foreground animations for the various settings were good if quite basic. but the midground and background animations didn't exist at all, just stills in the classic 'panel images' technique. for a very first ever Premier Episode for a Season, the work was definitely good. but folks with lots of experience in animation can certainly tell Teddy is a studio that needs more experienced senior animation staff to mentor the noobs more heavily. the hair animation was lovely and the fabrics were impressive as well. so kudos to the Teddy teams working on those. Teddy's key animators for faces definitely were hmm just OK. yet, give the hands a huge award! i didn't see a truly screwed up hand in this episode. hard work, very VERY hard job getting hands done right... and Teddy did very good in this episode!

i wonder though, where HAS Revoroot gone lately? after 'Killing Slimes for 300 Years S1' (Spring 2021) they did 'My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World' (Summer '22) which wasn't too bad. yet, it wasn't very good either. after that title Revo was one of two PRODUCERS on 'FLCL: Shoegaze' (Fall '23), and that's it. so, was Revo's poor to average level of work for the past four years by only putting out one fun but merely ok looking show a problem??? have they dissolved? gone bankrupt? left the 'studio of record' business entirely and moved to a full-support studio role helping out the 'big-big name studios'??

well, Teddy's work here gets a passing grade from me. i hope they can keep it up for the rest of this Season. :D

the English Dub of S1 is HILARIOUSLY written and the acting is gut-bustingly funny! especially the Minstrel Rabbit-girl storyline later on in S1. give the Edub a binge when you get some spare time and refresh your memory. :D

Season 1 was one of the better, fun isekeis hopefully this season is more of the same. This was more of a reintroduction/reacquaintance episode but I look forward to many more new cute girls.
Also I know she didn't really get out much but really this is the first time she noticed this world had rice and azuki beans?
Oh well, hopefully this season prompts Crunchyroll to put this and season 1 out on Blu-ray, it's a crime they never released season 1 on disc.

I feel like this anime is somehow very alike to Konosuba.
Shalsha and Falfa are so cute, the witch lady is so lucky to have such a lovely family to her side. She gets all the support and love in the world.

@NTAD Between the first episode reintroducing the basics of the show (Azusa, her situation, and the main members of her family), Halkara already providing the fan service aspect thanks to her involvement in the two stories adapted in this episode and
I can see why Belzie wasn't featured in this episode.

I don't know why they recreated her death with a new little story, but I'm glad Azusa is back!

Now, I won't need to read the source...
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Our adorable family is back with a second season! Now, in regards to this episode, Megamega was HILARIOUS, i seriously burst outta laughter. Gotta say though, SERVES HER RIGHT, DUE TO BEING SEXIST. That aside though, just remembered something i was always confused about all the way in season one, Flatorte & Laika are both dragons, why does Flatorte always have her tail wiggling around, while Laika's tail ain't to be seen at all?

Is she hiding hers or do red dragons not have tails? Might she be a special case? I have always had that question which remained unanswered, even after the prequel's finale. I know that it's such a trivial detail, but it just does not make much sense, is all. Nonetheless, very funny & adorable episode! Excited for what the studio is cooking for us in the upcoming episodes!

It has been so long since the first I genuinely forgot how many characters the show already has. Did not remember any of them but Azusa.

This will just gonna be a 'brain off and hopefully cute and comfy' show. Post credit scene, immediate rejection. No chest upgrades for Azusa it seems.

All I’m missing this Saturday is Nagatoro and it would feel like I’m back in Spring 2021. Boy am I glad to finally see this 2nd season, Azusa and the gang melted my stress and anxiety away 4 years ago and they’re gonna do it again, I just rewatched Season 1 but it still feels like I haven’t seen these wonderful characters in such a long time. And for the record, this was the first ever comfy Isekai/Fantasy show I had ever watched, so it holds a very special place for me, and Teddy appears to be doing a great job on this season just like Revoroot did before, the art style is slightly different but it looks great, same with the animation, I’m glad the silly expressions didn’t go anywhere either. Also, I’m glad during Flatorte’s reintroduction they called back to her most iconic moment, “Flatorte is free!”, how could they not lol.

And our first adventure after returning to the Azusa family involved the creation of a new treat, or more like old treat but to everyone in that world it was new lol, everyone cooking together was a swell time with some shenanigans involved as always, but once they got it right they were in heaven, and in more ways than one when you consider the reactions from Falfa and Shalsha lol, I never tire of those sweet slime daughters. And I wasn’t expecting the goddess that resurrected Azusa to come down to their world, but wow does the “god industry” look shady lol, thankfully Mega-mega wasn’t there to beam Azusa to a different world tho, and instead told her that she won’t be sending forever 17 girls to different worlds anymore, unfortunate but it happens to the best of us lol.

And I wasn’t expecting that cute after credits bit, sad that Azusa couldn’t get Halkara level booba from Mega-mega but I loved the style of the scenes, I hope those will be reoccurring throughout the season. And the OP by the great Yui Ogura was a banger, the visuals weren’t in full display but I could tell they were very good, can’t wait to see it and the ED in the next one!
