Apparently the re zero s3 showed some of the flatter characters tone down their outfits. They cited a aim to reach a global audience so this makes me curious. I am curious on demographics of this choice. So what do you think of these changes? |

| Mixed. On one hand, I get it, plus I don't really care because I don't find those characters appealing, and it seems like such a minor change to begin with. On the other hand I'm kinda tired people freaking out over animated characters as if it's as bad as sexualizing actual kid actors. All this stuff coming out about the shit actual actors have gone through, and I just can't bring myself to give a shit about what a couple of drawings are wearing. A guy I watch on YouTube did an entire video on these kinda characters and it's literally the only one I'll never watch, because I'm just tired of it. Both sides, like always, are tiring. On one hand you have people whining if too much is shone and on the other you have people whining because cleavage is a little less visible or some shit. There's also a huge fucking difference between having a drawing of it in a LN, and literally having to stare at it (drawn/animated) on screen for an extended amount of time, these two things are simply not equal. If they were censoring a loli in a pure ecchi show or something I would have a problem with it, but the original designs feel completely unnecessary for Re:Zero. |

I don't recall stating that Re:Zero is a realistic representation of the medieval age or anything similar. Re:Zero is high fantasy and is realistic within its own high fantasy rules. |
