Favourite type of fanservice?
| The anime community usually calls any type of sexual content that features panty shots, b**b grabs, or naked women as 'Fanservice'. The actual definition of fanservice would be anything that is added to please the fans to watch the show. This can either be good or bad depending on the context. Most of us don't like camera angles that are unnecessary focused on female character's bodies in very action-oriented shows. What type of fanservice do you actually enjoy? | Sexual poses/angles I only like if the character is at least 18 and aware they are sexy. And not wearing something dumb. |

| I would say shipping moments between characters, luckily for my top six favorite characters it seems the authors agreed with me as well. Dang, it looks like the opinions people have on their favorite type of fanservice is super diverse. That's cool to see. |

| I voted for Highly detailed and visually impressive backgrounds, but I just like pretty-looking scenes in general even if they're not highly detailed. Something like the sparkly scenes usually in shoujo/romance anime or a lot of scenes in Demon Slayers that just makes me want to screenshot them. |
| All of the above but where appropriate. There can be good fanservice and fanservice that just feels out of place and is distracting where it shouldnt be. One thing i dont see enough of is detailed close ups of characters whether sexual or non sexual. |

| I want to see characters other than the protagonist have an opportunity to save the day now and then. A lot of older anime are especially guilty of having every episode end with the main character beating the villain of the week, but I'd much rather see other people get to use their combat abilities and win once or twice. |
