| Well, at least we got somewhat of a recap for this to remind us of the plot. It's been awhile but they got us straight back into the world of Edens Zero again. Honestly, seeing Homura back is a pleasant sight. However, the episode took on a somewhat serious approach at handling the story with Shiki and his allies trying to get into a battleship. Not sure how I feel about Rebecca's role yet but seems like they really love to give her fan service again. Maybe her dream gives a hint for what's to come later this season. |

| Hiro Mashima's Edens Zero is back, and the journey to find Mother continues for Shiki and Co. onboard. Xiaomei, that's a thorough recap of Season 1 "in a simple way" lols. Nice to have Shiki and Co. back, and more of Edens Zero's secrets revealed when it comes to the Four Shining Stars (with Homura assuming Valkyrie's role) that are only kept in complete secrecy, with Code 3173: Etherion only activated when the Four Stars align. As usual, it's Rebecca fanservice time as usual, but it's her scary dream being an omen for what's to come, of a mature Shiki, and him recognizing that Happy didn't exist in that timeline. And at long last, they've reached the battleship Belial Goer. The city inside a ship with formerly Planet Guilst citizens, and their man of target is the stalking Alchemy of Darkness Drakken Joe, and this is only the investigation phase. While Shiki and Weisz are bickering, they encounter Norma's Sibyl 50 years in the future in his current state, which he has changed and forgot all about his atrocities with Pino. But just when things were getting good, Drakken Joe has got them good, and that's not all: to infiltrate Edens Zero with his rag-tag crew to take over the ship. A decent return to form for Edens Zero, and who manga readers will know of the events going forward. |

| Damn... they infiltrated alright but it's not looking good for our crew on Eden's zero. Things have started to heat up from the very beginning. I'm liking it. Pino and Happy are adorable as ever. But, I'm kinda scared for them and what is gonna be their fate. I really hope they figure something out. Also, some great bits of animation in the dream sequence of Rebecca. The second season has started and I have high hopes since I've heard good things about this one. I Hope J.C Staff delivers their best. Can't wait. |

| Well, that definitely wasn't a smart move from Shiki to just wander into enemy territory like that. Drakken seem to have gotten them in a bind, how will the Edens Zero cerew without the likes of Valkyrie repel this threat, should be an interesting watch next episode. It was nice to have a quick recap into previous events and it's nice to see the characters back! Homura's first role as Valkyrie's replacement will have to wait for the time being, it seems. I'm guessing Rebecca with her new powers will have to save the day here? |

| Thankful for the recap, since I never went back and rewatched S1 lol. Things are already getting serious with Draken Joe making his move against the Edens Zero gang. Rebecca's nightmare looks like it might be foreshadowing some ominous events that will take place later on. Nice return for this series and I'm looking forward to seeing where this arc goes. |

| Excellent first episode of seeing the crew back together and Hiro Mashima never fails to deliver exciting fan service especially on rebecca. i hope that sister's battle dress is some kinda of space bikini armor. |
I used to do that before and always end up watching 15 to 20 animes per season sadly now I don't really have the time to do that |

| What if they finally let Mosco push his belly button and instead of blowing up, he opens up and there's a hibernating Valkyrie with all the memories and behaviors of the original? OK I just really want someone to push the button. Sue me. Loved Rebecca's quick change accessories. Wish they really existed. |
| @ShonenJumperBoi We should get news this year also with them not giving any updates yet they could be giving 100 Years Quest more effort and animation to the fights and add things Hiro couldn´t fit in the manga As for Edens Zero all I can say is this season will be awesome! I read the manga |
| anyway, good start, wished the anime's entire style was composed like that dream sequence (whichi was fantastic, great work from Aoki's original scenes) but it's still good overall, excited for the nexxt episodes |

| Edens Zero is back, and the op still as good as before. Rebecca had a bad dream, and Pino won the race because of emp XD. Ofc the infiltration can't be that easy, even the infiltrator actually being infiltrated xd. But don't worry ladies, Moskov will not let the intruder hurt you! So yeah, i'll take this as slowly as possible as how the spring season coming in... |

| Great first ep!! Ah how I missed the humour and fan service of this show! That opening is fire btw. Things are heating up already and the ship does not look safe D: This "battle gear" they're talking about would really come in handy. I'm not sure the crew can beat these 3 officers of Drakken Joe. That future Rebecca saw is concerning... It seems like events that are really far away though, I'm not sure. |

| Decent continuation from the 1st season, it doesn't seem to change at all, I appreciate the recap at the beginning though. Now Rebecca's nightmare sure looks interesting for what might happen later, and same for the current ship assault. |

| I love that little EMPino so much. When she emp farted and won the race I loled so hard at her huge innocent smile. it's nice to see this anime return finally. I like it much more than Fairy Tail. Even Happy is done better and less of a jerk. |

| Good way to start the season, with some recap and also begining of a new arc. Shiki and co infiltrated enemy ship but they were found out and now Edens Zero got invaded. Just the start of the season and they are already in trouble. Rebecca's dream was quite concerning too. Also we already got some nice fanservice and Homura's as amusing as ever. |

| I just wanna ask,, did the author said something about the timeline in Edens Zero(present) being in the same universe as Fairy Tail? A thousand years gap, maybe? From magic to ether, something like that. And then there's Happy from being an exceed(if I'm not mistaken) to a robot... |
