They are going off what was said in interviews, personal talks, and knowing what Miura would have wanted. |

| I'm excited. I'm confident these guys can successfully do it even if it obviously won't be 100% what Miura would have done... Since obviously they're not him. Good luck to them however as I fully expect it will give birth to a sub group of loud toxic freaks that will bash it for disappointing them and not being Miura's vision or whatever. |

If you're disappointed, you can always choose to ignore every chapter not made by Miura as non-canon, but now there's at aleast a chance for some story conclusion. |

| So many thoughts and emotions swirling in my head right now. You can tell their desire to continue and finish Berserk is coming from an earnest place. I can only imagine how difficult of a decision this was to make for them. Miura's assistants are very talented, and so is Mori. And wow, what a profound friendship. We'll have to see how this goes, but they have my full support. |

| Based on the translation and some info from other sites, we can, more or less, get the bigger picture. To those who don't wanna read the whole thing: Studio Gaga, Miura's company, has four assistants: Yoshimitsu Kurosaki, Akio Miyaji, Shinshu Hirai and Arihide Nagashima. They helped Miura with Berserk and have a style very close to him. The last chapter was actually, mostly, drawn by them, because Miura passed away before finishing it. Kouji Mori, manga artist (whose style has nothing to do with Miura) will NOT draw it. He will write the script. THey found some notes and unfinished material, but Miura never wrote a full script himself. But Kouji Mori was Miura's friend and Miura confessed the whole plot to him when he was doing the Eclipse chapter. So, Mori will TRY TO RECALL EVERYTHING Miura told him, promising he will not made up anything he don't remember. He confessed he know full well this will not be the perfect story Miura had in mind, and it actually took him a whole year to decide if that was the best course of action. But he said he would regret not trying it, and imagine Miura saying to him "You knew the plot and didn't do it!". That's it, more or less. THe credits from the next issue fowards will be this: "Original work by Kentaro Miura, Manga by Studio Gaga, Supervised by Kouji Mori." |
