| I haven't enjoyed this show as much as some of you, but I do think this was an excellent episode. And, wouldn't you know it, I think Nia is a huge improvement over Kamina as a character. |

| ^_^ Simon finally snapped out it, and what a way it is. Simon is a far better character when compared to Kamina as of now. He believes in himself, unlike Kamina who have to place his faith on Simon. I'm glad Kamina died, otherwise this show wouldn't have gotten this good. | Finally, Simon is back. It's great to see Kamina's character won't die down despite the incident. On another note, tbh, I'd like to see more Simon x Yoko rather than Simon x Nia. |
| Damn. The show has only gotten better and better after Kaminas death. It served as a pivotal point for character development. Served that really well. Im probably a small minority. But with the episode I can safely say I am glad Kamina died. The show is picking up my expectations and shattering them. I was expecting something decent. Above average with good animation. Im getting much more then that. The animation itself. I don't know if anyone else noticed. But it changes. It isn't the same at the end of the episode as it was at the beginning. The emo art ends and the art of before is back. |
| FUQEN YES~! Beyond amazing episode. Simoun's speech seriously moved me. I am totally on board the Nina x Simoun ship. They are just perfect for each other. "Only humans have such filthy mouths. Can't you atleast say Beast-Bitch-Sama?" I lol'd hard at that. |

| Ok so I really enjoyed this ep. Sorta makes up for them killing off Kamina. :3 Glad Simon is not so blah and timid anymore. Anyone notice that his voice got deeper during the battle? It was a little wierd. >.> Oh, and it was really nice to see Kamina again.. even if it was just a memory. Kamina will live on with us all. ~ |

| Simon GAR? What a joke. Seriously, all it takes is a girl touching him and he falls in love? At least he finally manned up and isn't fighting amongst the only people that care about him any more. Kamina's flashback was the best part of this episode. It really shows that he had a lot more going on his head than it seemed. To be able to keep his composure all the time while under extreme mental pressure, he really is irreplaceable. It was really emotional when they showed Simon's crying face remembering Kamina right before the Giga Drill Breaker. I know Kamina's death really brought a NEEDED depth/angle to the show but... I just can't accept it. I hope they'll show more flashbacks and give him mentions here and there as the show progresses. |

| I prefer Simon x Nia over Yoko tbh, those two seem like a better match to me. Definitely love Simon's change back to the character I like seeing. This episode was just awesome! ^^ That moe village was definitely something too, I'd like seeing more of those in anime. XD |

Interesting turn of events. Glad to see a Kamina flashback! And Simon ROCKS!!! At least I dont feel bad now over Kamina's death. His death played a very big part in Simon's character development. And good thing Kitten gave up his being the leader thinking.. it really pissed me off when he was assuming the role of being the leader. But anyway, no one's up for the position, so he probably just assumed it.  |

| All aboard to Simon x Nia's ship! This was REALLY a great episode. That epic speech sent chills down to my spine and left my mouth open in awe ( was just exaggerating ). Specifically when he said "Who the hell do you think I am?" even though it lacked power but the message was all that matters. |

| One of my favourite episodes so far. I was in shock in episode 8 and couldn't really do anything but stare blankly at my screen afterwards, but all the Kamina flashbacks in this episode as well as Simon letting go of his grief and finally accepting that he has to be his own person made me bawl like a baby. I really hope the series picks up from here or I may never get over Kamina's death, and I may never stop wondering how things would have turned out had he lived. Fingers crossed this is only the beginning... |

| Wow. I'm really in the minority with how I feel about this show so far :/...Maybe it was just over-hyped to me so I had my hopes set a lot higher, idk. I thought it would be good from ep 1 but it just seems kind of...meh so far. It has its moments for sure but i haven't gotten that "epic" feeling at all really. :/ |

| Awesome development on Simon's part. Looks like they're destroying the generals fairly quickly, I wonder if they'll be facing the Spiral King soon. And as far as I'm concerned, Simon and Nia go well together. It must be hard for Nia though, to learn that she was just one of the many pastimes for the king when he's bored. |
